No Filler Tank Carto?

I have a tank that works really well, but I hate the taste of the filler in the carto (Boge). Normally use Stardust, CE3....Vivi Nova and Phoenix on the way.....solves the problem the rest of the time......but would still like to use my tank (Mom and Pop mini-sub). Is there any clearo/fluxo product which can replace the tank cartos with the yucky filler stuff?

not sure what kind of tank but people use ce2 for tanks and it works well.

Ok....I took a look at them. How do you get the holes in them? Can you cut them down shorter? Do you leave the filler plug in them?

I've see pictures of a ce2 in a dcc tank. They put 2 holes one low and one high. I'm not sure exactly where to put them but you could search the modding forums.

you can even put 3 holes in the tube one high, middle, and low, this works fine too.

The liquid resevoir in a CE2 is sealed under normal circumstances. It can be used as a tank carto, though. As stated, you must punch 2 holes for it to accept the nicquid. It's fluid dynamics. Simply cut/punch a hole at the lowest level on the carto to allow the nicquid in when installed in the tank (approx 1/4"). Then cut/punch another hole just below the ceramic cup inside the CE2. This wil allow the nicquid to flow freely into the area where the wick is in the carto. You con fill the tank the same way you would normally fill a CE2, as the nicquid will "spill out" of the carto into the tank. If you like CE2s, this is a good option. Hope this helps!

I've been told you can use a drill bit, sharp blade or even heat up a wire coat hanger. Either way be careful

How do you punch the holes in the plastic?

You can get CE2's with a metal casing instead of the plastic and then just punch or cut like you would a carto. It's the same "CE2" used for map tanks.
