Thanks for the pic Travis. Two things I am noticing right off...
First one in not a big deal, but on future builds you want to wrap your coil in the opposite direction so the lead on right is under the wick and the left is over. This is so the wick on the left side lays more natural to the deck. It also helps so you can lean or tilt the coil just slightly downward towards the feed hole in the ceramic deck.
On to the second, not sure what diameter your coil is, but most use a 1/16" diameter and the coil needs to be closer to the edge of the deck, directly in front of the air hole, and down closer to the ceramic deck.. This is so the air flow comes in and hits the coil and flows, both, under and over the coil. Remember to center it with the air hole. This can be easily checked by taking off the drip tip and looking in the top of the cap and also by shining a light in the cap and looking in the air hole... If that makes sense to you?
The coil overall looks ok, but needs to come out and down a little. The cotton looks ok, but on the right side you don't need that long tail at all and the left side need only go to the edge of the feed hole. On the RM2, when you feed them you can almost completely submerse the coil in liquid as you squonk and that is why you don't need as much wicking... Trial and error are not your enemies here... It will come to you when you make a few adjustments... Hope this helps you.
