I just got my "big" Chuck, ready to step into the world of 6v vaping. Had the batteries all charged and ready, and....

Nothing.

I ordered an 18650 for a friend's Chuck and put it in, and fired right up.

Tried two of the UltraFires in his Chuck, no joy. Put in the 18650, fires right up.

Same exact atty in all tests (510).

The batteries show charged in 2 different chargers. They are UltraFire 16340s, which are the same battery, right? On the Mad Vapes site he has some that are listed as 16240/CR123.

I read on Jeff's page that two CR123 batteries are for 6v, but from what I read the are supposed to be the same as the ones I got, no? Just in case, I ordered four that are CR123A for sure from 24hour batteries (cheap!).

Another weird thing is I put one in my Little Chuck and it fires right up.

I have no volt meter and don't know jack about electricity, but it would seem that if I get power from them in the Little Chuck, I should get power in the Big Chuck, right?

Luckily, I already have a working Chuck so I am still in Lower vaping Heaven, but I want to join the Anointed in 6v Nirvana!

I have the same problem, except the fact that mine fires randomly with the ultrafire 3v batteries. I think they are too big compared to the tenergy RCR123's.

Did you get the ultrafires from Madvapes?

Wierd rcr123 are the same as rcr123a just different names

I have tenergy 3Volt 900mahs blue little guys and they work perfect never had one problem

I have the yellow tenergy's and they work perfect, but I also have the protected ultrafire 3v 16340's and they are bigger. They are in-between the size of a ultrafire 18350 and the tenergy 16340's.

its the protection (PCB)...thats why most use the tenergy lifepo4 16340s....they are not protected w a PCB but rather have a chemistry that will not explode or catch fire. My blue tenergy protected batts will trip every time :(

Try the yellow/silver tenergy lifpo4 16340s, theyll fire it every time :)
Thanks for the tip! I think those are the ones I ordered.

Yep. I ordered Tenergys in the meantime.

I have 3 Big Chucks at my disposal at the moment and the ultrafires from madvapes only work in one of them correctly. The other two only fire when I hold the button just the right way. If I put the tenergy batteries in them, they work in all three Chucks.

Weird thing is, I have some 3.7v rcr123's that I got from madvapes that are the same size as the tenergy's. I bought them in December. I read somewhere, battery sizes and colors may vary from time to time.
