Sun,

You are GREAT!!

Just because you took the time to make sure that we are all safe from getting lead poisoned which would make people go insane.

China has had more than a few incidents in manufacturing toys and such using lead paint and has poisoned kids and such (because kids like to bite on stuff)

So again Thanks Sun!!!!!

This is good info, though I would only have thought that led might be present in the solder used to attach the wires to the atty, bridge, etc... and as none of these compoonents get hot enough to melt the solder there's no chance of inhaleing the led vapors...

The lab results seem to confirm RoHS compliancy with no led solder and that's good for the environment!

Soon there's gonna be a LOT of dead attys in the landfills....

Wonder what Archiologists will thing they are when they're dug up 1000 years from now :D

I had tested for Lead paint the following atomizers and batteries both in black and white and they all came back negative for lead in all of them:

Atomizers and batteries tested:

801 SLB's Originals
801 from Eastmall
BE112 from Best
RN4072 from Njoy
RN4072 from First Union
RN4072 from Puresmoker (old style)
510 from Joy
510 from Eastmall
901 from Puresmoker
BE901 from Best
901 SLB's Original's

Testing was done on the inside as well as the outside of each device.

I find this to be good news and worth the time and money.

ok i'll bite...Outside of the interior of the atomizer where you don't want lead..what could it hurt on the battery? I mean lets face it..if someone were chewing on the battery (and on the inside?!?) they have bigger problems comming than lead paint.

Many thanks!!!! This is great to know!!!!

I have only been vaping for about 5 days now but spent a lot of time looking at the forums here before starting. :rolleyes:I am glad to see that someone has tested some of these things. I too was worried about what might be in them. I have also been concerned about the chemical that was in the dog food being in the e-juice. I guess we would have heard about problems before now if that was the case but dont know. :thumb:

The resurrection thread. But thanks for paying for the test. It's above and beyond.

If we could do more test I think the forum would pay for it. I don't have a clue on how much a specific test cost but I think the forum members would be happy to pay for them. For an individual it might be expensive but for a few hundred of us a few bucks apiece.

Juices for instance. I would think vendors would supply Dekang. A majority of vendors sell it. Using a few suppliers would give us a decent cross sample. We could test it the way the FDA did.

I know it would be almost useless with the FDA but knowing for ourselves would be great. If nothing else we would have some excellent talking points and real data to point to with the news services. If the manufactures won't do the research we can. Not long term stuff but analysis.

If nothing else we would know what we were ingesting.

We could request ideas for testing and whittle them down to the essentials.

Hey Sun. This kind of endeavor would need a highly recognizable leader. Ahem. I'm one helluva Sargent but not a leader. Not a bad researcher either. Reading in this forum I think we could find almost anyone we would need specialty wise.
If you are interested in doing something like this let me know. I could do most of the leg work.
