No Longer Putting a Down Payment on My Death!

I am overwhelmed right now as I type this...I want to say thank you to all the members for making such a wonderful site for Newbies like myself.

I have smoked for 12 years and I have tried just about everything to quit. Pills, patches, prayers, nothing worked. I knew what I was doing was killing me and each time I lit up that thought nagged in the back of my head but I just could not quit.

Finally I ordered the e-cig. I had seen it on TV before and I heard about, I researched it but like many the initial monetary expense was more than I could afford. (That sounds stupid now because I was putting a downpayment on my death every time I bought a pack of 6.00 American Spirits.) My mom sent me Christmas money this year and this was a gift to myself. The only thing I regret is not buying it sooner. I got it Thursday and have not smoked since. If you knew me, you would know this is TRULY a miracle. I feel so much better in just a few days. I can't believe it!!

I hope to be an active member of the community and I pray that we all continue on our journey of vaping and good health. Blessings to you all!

After watching 50 million youtube videos, I got the V2 cig. I ordered the menthol flavored carts. It came with five and they put in an extra 5. Since coming here I am learning I could have gotten the same thing much cheaper but I am sure I will be ordering more things since I already ordered more carts from another site.

You (general you) always think this is so expensive. For the initial equipment it was 50 dollars. Yes, I was staking my life on 50 silly dollars. I waste 50 dollars smoking in general. But I guess I was just afraid this was another gimic that would not work. I have been proven wrong and I am glad. My husband kisses me freely again.

What was so funny of course with anything new you just start vaping away and I was just vaping and vaping and my daughter was worried about me running out of carts. She was like, "mom I don't want you to start smoking again." To see her so worried made me so sad. She is so worried I will run out and pick up a cig again. I immediatly (the day I got it) ordered more carts. She should not be that worried. I need to be strong through this for myself and for my family. (sorry for rambling)

50 bucks isn't that bad for having seen it on TV Believe me, we've heard some real horror stories about people that spent far more and ended up with far less. Plus, they were not coming to ECF happy about what they got.

I was just lookin at another thread, the V2 is kr808d-1 I think. So, you'll be able to pick up stuff for it without a problem.

I'm really glad it's working for you. And, your daughter was right. There's nothing worse than vaping along and suddenly realizing your juice won't last until the mail comes in again.

God help me, I DO NOT want to become a smoke "Nazi" like my vegan-I -am -super -healthy -husband. I soooooooooooooooo understand how hard it is to quit. My dad has COPD (he quit), my sister smokes, my brother smokes, my bestfriend smokes, etc. I cannot judge them. I was there myself and PRAY that I NEVER go back. I sympathize with them and I will sing the praises of the e-cig forever and hopefully they will try it out and quit.

Hello, Zar777. I was curious what site you used to order some new carts? Since this is new to me, I have not entertained making my own carts. I came here last night and looked around and went to a site called Analog Alternative. I ordered a few things from there since they are compatible. I am sure I will always be looking for the best place to order carts that get them to you in a reasonable time.

Refill those carts and you'll double the savings vs analogs Not familiar with the V2 so can't point you 'where' but a search should find tons of info right here at ECL !! Like many, in a couple weeks the smell of smoke is likely to make you nauseous and that's a great feeling !!

I really try not to be a anti-smoking nazi now, but it is just so hard to walk into my mothers house where they smoke and not make a comment about how bad it smells.

I don't want to be a hypocrite either. I really don't have a problem with smokers, I mean I was one for 30 some years and have only been vaping for about 5 months. Soooo, the smell is rough. My wife and I go out to the casinos every once in a while in Nevada here and when someone sits next to me smoking, it is such a strong smell. Amazing how strong it is, really.

There are tons of compatible parts available for it.
Bloog & V4L sell prefilled.
You will eventually want to fill them yourself, so save the empties!!!
Get some good juice & empty cartos & you are set!

vapor4life works with our v2, I have not tryed them yet, but will have them tomorrow! I ordered them late in the after noon on Thursday, I would have had it Saturday if not for the holiday. Super fast shipping, no back orders!

V4L is amazing, and works with my Vapor King and my DuoPro... unfortunately with cartomizers unless you have the proper tools you cant use V4L liquids (I use a leathermen tool to open my cartomizers)

Once you get the hang of refilling, it's fairly simple, especially if you get the soft tip ones. Most of us refill our cartomizers and have no problem once we learn how to do it.
