I love me some Orkin Man!!! :D

In all my experience, I live in the south, we have the flying kind as well, I have never ever had one touch me. I usually find them legs up thanks to the Orkin Man, or am able to smash them. This makes me physically ill, by the way, nauseous and even more, but the best bug is a dead bug.

I think you're cleared for a short nap. Or, go spend the night with friends/family!

I hope you're right about them not treading on me! Am really stunned by my reaction to this. Usually I'm very phlegmatic about pest control. Guess after 6 bugless years, I've been lulled into a false sense of security. Well, NO MORE! I've got my guard cats, shoefly, bleach, assorted sprays, an impending visit from exterminator man, and all your hugs. I'M ON IT! YEAH!

Been a vaper for 7 months. Easy transition, never wanted a smoke after switching. Realize now I've been rather smug about how easy it was for me.

Until last night. Had a tremendous shock (6 years in this apt., never saw a roach until last night.) Two big ugly MF'ers, and in my bedroom! I hate those bugs!!! The cats alerted on them, I got rid of them, and spent the rest of the night sitting up holding a can of Raid. Normally I handle things like this fairly well, but today I'm increasingly a nervous wreck. Adrenaline overload, nuseated, shakey, can't focus. And I want a cigarette! Lordy how I want a smoke.... Am vaping up a storm, and intellectually I know a smoke isn't going to make me feel better, haven't given in so far, but....

I think a hug would help... ?

{HUGS}

Not sure about Sirius B but here in Phoenix it is getting to the time of year where these buggers want to come inside (they don't like the heat I guess). Ortho Home Defense works great. Get a jug of this with the spray attachment and spray the parameter of your house (Outside!!! :) ) and that keeps em out.

Me? I'm not bothered by bugs, it takes something much bigger to give me pause (unless it is a poisonous snake. They get a wide berth until I get something with some reach. LOL).

My wife on the other hand. SHRIEK!!! THERES A BUG!!!!!!"

Sigh, send in the Marines. :)

You have my sympathy Ania. Good for you for resisting.

This is why I haven't thrown out any of the 18mg/mg liquid I no longer use.

Rolling on the floor here, Leoleoleo! Much as I hate the buggers, not sure I hate them enough to waste e-juice on them, even the blech stuff! (Blech stuff is backup juice for the backup juice, in case of vapocalypse...)

Now you have me rolling on the floor. I just hope I don't find any bugs while I'm down here.

Oooooh, send me a few hunka hunka Marines! That'd solve my problem (or at least I wouldn't care about it any more...) ;)

LOL! Well this Marine no longer falls into the hunka category, although I'm sure my wife would disagree. However, I do know some young buck Marines that are very much in that category. :D

Any Marine who makes it through basic training qualifies for Lifetime Hunka Hunka status in my book!

Okay ladies and gentlemen, I've settled down a bit and am ready for combat (after a brief nap or as soon as the Marines arrive, whichever happens first).

I want to {{{HUG}}} everybody back who's been kind enough to spend a few moments with me today, to give me support and much-needed advice, and to make me smile and then even laugh!

You truly are an AWESOME group!

Ok Guys. Bullette the Cowdog here to save the day! (Not a good looking marine...just an ol' Cowdog)

Grew up in Florida. Everything grows better in Florida...even bugs.

So here's what a Floridian uses:
20 Mule Team Borax. Yes. I know you think I'm nuts but it works.

This is what you do. Go to the grocery store. Buy a box...it's where the laundry detergent is. If you've got carpet, sprinkle it on your carpet & let it stay 24 hours. Walk on it. Ignore it. The next day vacuum it up. It gets into the vacuum & kills bug eggs too. Throw out the vacuum bag. Sprinkle some Borax under sinks & into any holes around the plumbing too. Borax kills roaches & fleas too.

If you have hard floors, sprinkle it around baseboards. Sweep it under & into corners.

Next: outside your house
Diatomaceous Earth. Sprinkle it around the outside of the house. Not a poison to pets. Keeps out ants & roaches. Needs to be reapplied about once a month during rainy season. Good for plants & veggies too.

20 Mule Team Borax & Diatomaceous Earth are non toxic & non odor. You will enjoy your vape much more without the odor of the poisons.

Vape on.

Great tip Bullette! One question, is the borax safe for indoor puppies who like to eat things they know they shouldn't?

I used to use the 20 Mule Team Borax all the time around my full grown Labrador. Even sprinkled it on her bedding. But I wouldn't use it around puppies. Puppies like to lick everything.

Now the diatomaceous earth is ok around puppies. Diatomaceous earth is even put into animal feed by commercial outfits. I get mine at Home Depot.

What kinda puppy ya got? Pics would be good. Love them puppies.
