things are good, I'm in Western Australia but closer to the Northern Territory in a place call Kununurra, google it, Middle. Of. Nowhere.

We are in the dry season now so no bugs BUT during the Wet (October - March) plenty of frogs, lizards, geckos and mozzies all over the place. The green tree frogs are nice but the massive football sized cane toads I can do without...

We have HUGE termite mounds too but surprisingly I never see any termites...

Google mapped Kununurra. Definitely. Not. Near. Perth! Looks like you're closer to C. Dundee country.

Where I used to live (ca. 110 south of current location) we had what we called buffo toads that sound like your cane toads. We were told they were mildly toxic if touched, and could be lethal to small pets. Not quite football sized, but the cat couldn't decide if they were predators or new toys... (No pics, alas. Was too busy keeping toad and cat apart.) We also had the tiny tiny frogs, some no bigger than the nail of my little finger. Amazing creatures! (BTW, it's frog mating season here. Keeps me awake at night. Sound familiar?)

Do you have many vapers in Kununurra? vape shops? Is the town vaper-friendly? My impression is that Australia is rather anti-tobacco. Does this extend to vaping?
