My adult daughter is coming for a visit (I live in Florida), and we're planning a three day trip to one of the Orlando parks. It took me a while to realize that since I no longer smoke, my daughter won't be so grossed out by it that we can't share a room, and that I won't have to worry all day about when and where to sneak a smoke! If I do have to go to a smoking zone to vape I can deal with it...but YEAH. And my car smells fresh now!

Universal, first time for both of us (I have been to a concert at the Hard Rock there, but that's it). We're gonna hit that mega outlet mall first off, then one day at each of the two parks. It's only an hour from where I live but we both hate driving so we're going to stay at the Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Pricey little trip but worth every penny to have major time with my younger babe!

I have been trying to get my mother to vape...she does a little but she won't quit buying cigarettes. She does respect that I don't want any smoking in my house or car anymore though.

And I am amazed how clean my car is staying...My kids are almost grown so its the first time in years I can keep it nice and clean.

I see that smoking is permitted in the City Walk area...I'm assuming that's where we'll go in the evenings. When I went to a concert there last summer I was smoking and strolling. Looks like more than enough smoking zones throughout the parks, though.
I just have to figure out what vape gear to take and how to transport...for the driving I'll stick to a clean mint so as not to give my passenger any sort of yuk factor (I've had a few people comment that they didn't like flavored emanations in a closed car).

cocacola, it's so hard to say what makes someone decide to dump the smellies. I always say that I had no intention of quitting! I do have some elective surgery coming up, and I knew I'd have to quit for a while for that, so more than anything, that was my motivation. But so many bonuses!!!!!

My kids (in their 20s) were taught in school that smoking was disgusting, death-evoking, repulsive. and their was their mom, puffing away. I mean, it was always more than concern for health...it was a sleazy, gross habit...one that "smart" people don't do. In our community I was usually the only one smoking, and people didn't ever say anything to me...but, well, we've all felt it.
It's actually amazing that I'm FREE of all that!
The only time my little habit came in handy was when it was time to light the candles on a birthday cake!
