No nicotine in an Ejuice I ordered specifically with nicotine?

I bought a Menthol flavor from a well known juice maker. I ordered it with 12mg of nicotine, and it even says 12mg on the bottle. But when I vape it, it has absolutely no throat hit (Unlike the other 12mg juices I've bought from them) and doesn't give me the same feeling I get when I use nicotine.

Is it possible that they forgot to put the nicotine in my juice? They seem like one of the most professional and popular juice makers out there, so I find it unlikely, but then again, It's not the same at all to a juice with nicotine...

Is it possible they messed up my juice? Anyone else have an experience like this?

I ordered some 6mg juice once and when it got here, the bottle said "0 mg". I figure they just goofed the order. I guess a goof could occur at any point, so that even if the bottle is labelled 12mg, it might be actually 0mg. But what was said above is true, if it's very high VG, you might not have much TH. It's possible they got the nic right but goofed the PG/VG proportion.

ecigexpress.com has a nicotine testing kit for $6... I'm planning to get one since I'm starting the DIY thing; it sounds like something that might be useful to you.

I've been wanting to try out DIY juice for a while now. More control over the juice seems like a good thing, especially now that I think the company messed up my order!

The flavor itself also determines the TH. Far more so than the nic level.
Menthol itself, although very fresh to the nose and throat, has hardly any TH.
So if you comparing it to let's say tobacco flavors, which are usually designed to have th, menthol will have next to none.
I can mix a 3mg nic flavor that will make your throat hurt and a 36mg menthol that will feel like breathing polar wind.
Nicotine and TH might be somewhat related but the absence of either does not necessarily say anything about the other.

True! I keep seeing this all over the forum, that nicotine determines TH, but I haven't found it true; my ADV Virginia from MyFreedomSmokes has TH at 6mg that I can't stand when I first wake up; I have to vape some fruity stuff for an hour after I get up before I can handle the TH in the Virginia. To me what *really* determines TH is the amount of PG -- I tried MFS' VG-Blend of this Virginia when they ran out of the PG-Blend, and it had almost no TH at all.

I'll second the advice given here to contact the vendor. Mistakes do happen once in a while :)

If it's a particular juice you've never tried before, perhaps all the other variables that contribute to throat hit all align in a way that when combined there is virtually no TH. I've experienced that before and actually have a couple of juices that I've ordered multiple times that I love the flavor of, but have absolutely NO throat hit, even though I vape 18mg
