It's odd I have never seen anyone vape, and I vape everywhere in the open a lot. No one has really ever said anything to me. I think it's crazy about people here that say everyone stops them to ask what they are smoking. Just because it never happens to me.

I pull up next to cops on the road, and I vape away with a mod. I just get an odd look, and they keep going where they are going.

Today I did have one look from a lady walking into Lowes as I was vapping away on my Silver Bullet. Yet she didn't say a word. I just got one of those looks that I must be crazy smoking that walking up to the store if you know what I mean.

Even crazier was tonight. Halloween, and the streets were packed with adults with their kids. I had a mask on for part of the time, and vapped up a storm. I talked to parents vapping away on my SB, and out of say around 100 people I only had one look"same look as I was walking into lowes". Other than that not one person said anything to me.

I'm starting to think that E-Cig shop in the mall. The one everyone hates here has educated a lot of people what they are. Heck I know for a fact that my Aunt, and Uncle understand what they are now, because of that little store. They love me using my Smoking Machine(everyone in my family calls it that), and are happy that I use it instead.

Can anyone else vape around town without anyone ever saying anything too you?

I don't vape like a ****, and try to keep my vaper down when I'm indoors. Yet I still do it, and more and more I don't even stealth vape. If I do stealth vape it's just holding in the vaper.

It hasn't come up for me yet. I don't hide it, but I don't use it in non-smoking areas either.

I do put it away when I see kids headed my way though. I don't want to have a conversation with a kid about it.

Family and friends have reacted positively so far. I don't use it in their houses are cars though. I use it only in places I would otherwise smoke. (Just to be considerate)

I vape in everyone's house, and they don't mind. I tell them what it is of course, and the PG cleans the air. It's just watervaper, and they don't mind.

Kids love the E-Cig, and they would rather everyone use them that smokes from what I have seen. They don't choke them out like real cigs which is the biggest reason. They really don't understand smoking I don't think other than some adults do.

Also I hate vapping where people smoke. I personally don't like being around smoke anymore. When I walk up to a store I smell smoke even when no one is smoking there at that point in time. It's like it lingers in the air, and I just can't handle it very well.

I vape alot of different places, and I've only gotten 2 really weird double take looks but nope no one has ever said anything to me either. Besides my friends or family and they love it. I get to smoke in my smoking nazi sisters house and laugh at other family members that think vaping is too weird for them as they stand out in the rain or cold.

Ohhhhh --- that's something that still has my nose following the plume. I love the smell of a fresh lit cigarette to this day. Not stuffy, old smokey smells. That just lit whiff that floats on the air gets to me even now.

Using a 510, I rarely get a question either. College age kids tend to ask more --- I think that's because they have heard more about e-cigs. I would think a cop would do a double-take with your rig though.

I'm new to vaping, and love it. I've been very open and public vaping in restaurant, the mall, at work, etc. I've had a few strange looks but never a word said. This has been a life changer. I can relax in a restaurant, enjoy a dessert, cup of coffee, or another beer without the urge to go outside to grab that analogue fix. I've gone from about 2 packs a day, to less than 1 pack a week! They really don't taste that good any more, but the Silver bullet, even at 6v don't cut it for the post coital smoke! LOL

Same, same, except there is no e-cig store in my little island town. The nearest is a long swim away.

Curious; do you vape a white cig w/ red LED or something less associated with analogs?

I get a lot of questions when smoking in smoking designated areas. Sometimes I vape with the Janty stick and the way I hold it is 'stealth-like' but I'm not being 'stealthy'.

Just wondering if anyone has had those 'fake coughers' cough around your vapor. lol. I'm sure they'd cough if it were just your breathe on a cold day if they thought it was smoke.

I've vaped with metallic colored 510's with both blue and orange LEDs in Gulf Coast casinos on several occasions. No one has ever said a thing to me, although one couple did walk by and say to themselves "hey look, that guy is smoking one of those e-cigs". I have not gotten any strange looks either. I was really surprised, because I was thinking that the e-cig would be a real conversation starter!

Almost every day friend... I LOVE the look on their anti nazi faces when they do not smell any smoke.

Well, from a European perspective. Just back from a long weekend in Prague. No problems vapping in the airport, cafes, on the plane, in the "non-smoking" hotel or restaurants or even in the national museum, although I wouldn't try to make an issue of it . A few funny looks on the street, maybe people thought it was drugs (no tobacco smell).
The magic thing for me - this was the first time in years I didn't bother carrying 3000+ cigs through customs.

Vaping is not allowed inside the building where I work. There are 3 employees who do, but we have to go outside to the "smoking area". We get plenty of crap from the smokers, and you still come back inside with that smell on your clothes. It's a total bummer.:(

A couple of the local tobacco shops carry BE112 kits for $69. A box of 5 prefilled carts is $20. They have to make their profit, right? Hopefully these will become widespread and the price gouging comes down.

As for the smoking area at work, it's designated, and the powers that be have made it very clear that this is THE ONLY area where smoking / vaping are allowed. NY is an employment at will state, so getting fired isn't hard to do. I would LOVE to be able to vape inside and not have to go out, but the unemployment line is long enough without adding myself to it.

My cousin did that lol, started the fake cough, and then felt a little dumb I think. She thinks Nicotine is super bad for me, and thinks I should of used it too quit all together.

Yet she is the only one, besides one other cousin that thinks I should just use the real thing. Other than that everyone is kool with it in the family.
