Yep as long as the eGo is a 510, the clearo is a 510 should be fine.

The VV allows you to use pretty much any ohm stuff. As a general rule when ordering, get middle of the road ohms (like 2.3 to 2.5) but that's not essential.

You'll probably want a syringe for the clearos. What ones did you get?

Order juice. Samples are nice so you can get a range of flavors and nic and PG/VG ratio.

You should be able to use those cartos. Use a lower voltage (like 3.2 ish).

Get some more. Try some clearos and cartos that are not pre-filled. Like from the other link you showed. Or any vendor on 1st page.

Clearos are clear so you can see the juice and have wicks rather than filler. Some have swappable heads (like CE5s) and such. Look around. I don't think anyone sells a combo/trial pack so you have to check reviews. Boge has made them for years, for example. Avoid "Tank" for now. But save some $$$ to order some if refilling drives you nuts.

The super-mini's are fun to play with, IMO. I still have some when I get a "cig craving" and want the form factor. However, I use mods for my vaping for the most part. The cig-a-like super-mini e-cigs don't have enough power or battery-life for me. It's personal preference though.

It's good that you can try lots of options. Anything that gets you off cigs is a winner.

I vote no on the kit for several reasons:

- the battery is quite weak, in both power output and power capacity.
- automatic batteries are appealing to a smoker but usually you find yourself going to manual battery anyway.
- seeing that its an ancient kit, the price is thus wayyyy too high for the level of performance. I dont like expensive things when i have to pay for them.

Which kit are you referring to?

I think he means the one I already bought. lol I don't think I'd even joined the forum at the time and had zero idea what I was doing. Within 12 hours I already knew I needed to upgrade but because I was so rash before, I'm trying to show a little more prudence even though I'm allowing myself to spend the equivalent of what I'd have spent on analogs per month.

I edited my post above (#63) to add info about the cig-a-like types of things. They are available from a lot of vendors and reasonable $$$$ (lower costs probably than that link). But that's OK. It's all a win because it's the start of something new and a learning curve. Like I said above, if it gets you off the stinkies, its a good thing.

Well ANY vaping device is better than cigarettes, at least you have your foot in the door, as mentioned before at worst this will become a back up device. Keep reading here on ECF, ask any questions You may have. And if possible go to the vape fest i linked earlier, there you will be able to see in person all the equipment available and speak with venders and vapers. I am pretty sure all there will be happy to help you in any way they can.

What you bought is what we call a 510 Kit.

510 because that is what we call a battery of that size that has a 510 connector on it.

Don't let anyone give you a hard time about buy a 510 kit. That is exactly what people like myself and Attypops used to Quit Smoking. And anything that gets you off Cigarettes is a Good Thing.

And I know it's easy for us to spend YOUR money. We're good at that! ;)

You can always use the e-juice and kit that you have in the mail for a week or two and order more stuffis later. Cash flow and all. IDK what you spent per week on cigs, but for most people it adds up quickly. So you can spread purchase between paychecks, etc.

You'll need a charger for that eGo battery. Get the proper one that matches it and ask (even ask the vendor) if you need help matching it.

Don't mix up the chargers. Use the ones that match the units. eGo charger for eGo battery. Cig-a-like for cig-a-like.

Did you get a charger with that eGo battery????????

I haven't bought the stupid thing yet because everywhere I look, the one I want is out of stock. The VapeGhods hate me. I know I need the battery and charger together, though.. I've learned that much. :)

Also thinking about adding a bottom coil clearomizer. Seems they have less wicking issues? Plus, not all that expensive and if it's too advanced for me I can stick it in the drawer for a few weeks, right?

..... update....

MyVaporStore has it and a Kanger EVOD ego clearomizer. I think I may be good to go.

going back to the chinese site posted earlier, and doing a bit of searching found this

$20.13 EGO-EVOD 6-in-1 Rechargeable 900mAh Electronic Cigarettes Set - double e-cigarette / red + blue / 2.6

I am thinking about getting one of these for some of my friends who really need to ditch the cigarette thing. (cancer, heart disease etc.) the price kicks rear, has everything needed, the tanks I like and all the accessories. only thing I am not totally into is the fixed voltage batteries and I am not 100% on whether this is name brand or clone stuff. Also not 100% on how the warrenty or returns would work from overseas.

That said, If I went to my local vape store this kit would run me around $75.00 Heck just one battery and tank would cost me as much as this whole kit.

I've checked over and over and I think I"m right about this. If you like at the picture and description, it looks as if everything is included but if you scroll down and look on the left, you'll see the actual PACKAGE CONTENTS:

Package
PACKAGE TYPE Retail
PACKAGE CONTENTS 2*Electronic Cigarettes, 1*Charger Adapter, 1*USB Charging Cable, 1*Empty Bottle, 1*Carrying Pouch

Still not bad but you need to throw in a tank of some sort, yes?

To me... When they say "2 Electronic Cigarettes" they are saying that you get 2 batteries and 2 EVOD's.

So this would be a Complete Kit. All you need is some e-Liquid and you are Ready to Go.

The evods I got from that site are knockoffs, But they are good quailty clones. The heads in them are pretty bad but you can get some kanger evod heads to replace them. They call a battery + clearo a electronic cig in the description and you get what is pictured. Fasttech ego batterys are a gamble at best and seem to ship alot of bad ones. They have an office in Miami FL for returns in North America and are good with returns. Shipping takes about 2 weeks for me to MI.
