Hey i am fairly new to vaping, i have a Joyetech eGo ONE mini block shaped vape not a pen. It was around $100 has a neat screen so i can adjust the temperature, and wattage. There is a setting for titanium coils and Ni coils. I am using the Ni atm and am vaping 70-30% VG liquid. Right now it is set at 450 degrees F and 40 watts im not sure what it should be set to but i onky seem to get an okay amount of smoke when i vape at temperatures higher than 450 and 40 watts and up. The atomizer is set to .20 ohms and i can only lock and unlock it ii dont think i can change it. I am just wondering why even with a VG liquid why i cant get hardly any smoke? Please help thanks in advance!

ok, hope im not insulting you here, but by your settings you are in temp control mode. this is NOT the best for clouds. are you using kanthal as well? Temp Control (TC) works by reading the resistance change in TI or NI200 wire and adjusting its voltage to keep the resistance in a certain threshold to even the temp out at what you have selected. so when you hit the button the power spikes and then as the coil is heated the power is cut back.

If your using Kanthal in it the programming will be way of, and I couldn't tell you what the heck its doing, but with kanthal you should be using power mode where you set your watts and they stay there regardless of what your coil is doing. this will give you the better clouds.

As to your "VG Liquid"... You say it is "70-30% VG liquid." Is that 70 PG, 30 VG? Or 70VG 30PG? Big difference. If your looking to produce more vapor, look at a juice that is 70%VG or higher. Personally I make my own juice. In a 30ML bottle the only PG is my flavoring which is normally around 4ml. The rest is VG.

the way you change the attys resistance is to build a different coil, or install a different coil head with the resistance you want. you cant change the resistance in the mods programming.

Oh, and its not smoke... Its Vapor. :)

Are you sure it's an ego one model ? and not the vtc mini ? and what coil heads are you using ?

If so, the only coils it comes with are Ni200. I don't own one, but I hear the tanks ( Ego One tank) are crap. The mod itself (EVIC VTC Mini) gets great reviews though. You won't get huge clouds out of that tank no matter what coil you put in it. If you want clouds, get a better sub-ohm tank. The arctic would pair nicely with that mod. It doesn't need more than 60W. It sounds like you are using it correctly though. You can't change the resistance (ohms) of the coil. Once it's built, it's built. Temperature control (TC, using Nickel and Titanuim coils) is not the best way to get huge clouds IMO. Kanthal or Nichrome coils are MUCH better.

So true, I ordered mine without the tank but the mod is nice especially for on the go .............

for Ni and Ti coils ONLY use temp control. wattage is for Kanthal coils. I have the evic vt works fine but I've never used temp control before. I have the ego one tank it came with that as well gives a decent amount of vapor but if your looking for bigger clouds you need to get better tanks or even an RDA. compared to my 2 tanks my rda puts out WAY more vapor with the same juices. less vapor typically means your settings are too low otherwise. such as if I vape at 20wats it isn't much vapor where as I vape at say 30wats. I'm running duel coils clocking at 0.50ish ohms. single coil not sure if they produce more vapor then a duel coil I would assume no because duel has more surface area
