Yeah thanks, I'll definitely do that. I don't plan to get a cough suppressant anyway, I hate cough syrup lol. I was once told not to use cough drops though and to just tough it out completely, I guess that person was wrong. I hope it's not as bad as the last time I tried to quit, all of the coughing actually made me puke a few times.

MucinexDM is in pill form and it's a cough suppressant and expectorant. It's very good.

It's weird I haven't coughed any since quitting. I've taken Mucinex a few times and nothing. Maybe I should run around the block, that should do it.

I never really had smoker's cough, but I sure as heck started spitting out a lot of gunk once I stopped smoking and I started vaping. Interesting to think about in hindsight. For years I never realized I breathed almost exclusively through my mouth because I was always congested. No colds now either. Simply amazing.

Did anyone experience little to no smoker's cough when switching from smoking to vaping? ...

Not Me.

I developed a Horrible Cough and Scratchy Throat.

Just about gave up on Vaping. Then I switched from 100% PG e-Liquids to 100% VG e-Liquids and my cough went away.

Now I use 30%PG : 70% VG. If I go much higher on the PG, the Cough and the Scratchy Throat comes back

i've been vaping for about a month now (completely switched over from analogs), and i didn't get the hardcore quitting-smoking-cough. i DO cough a little, but i have allergies (which seem to have lessened considerably since the switch), and some slight asthma (not to the point that i needed an inhaler, but would definitely need coffee and sudafed first thing in the morning to help my breathing) associated with that. my coughing and asthma is WAY less than when i was smoking, and i don't wake up wheezing in the mornings anymore. also, no more nasty gobs of phlegm.

i was a pretty heavy smoker (got up to a little over a pack a day near the end there), so i'm also wondering if my body just isn't getting rid of all the gunk in my lungs yet. i was really expecting to have that really bad cough associated with quitting.

Most vapers that I have read on here seem to get the cough between 2 weeks and 3 months... Quite a window there I know, but everybody is different.

I have been vaping for one year and 6 months lost my smokers cough about one month in. I used to have coughing fits in the morning and also just cough randomly during the day. Now if I cough I know I am getting sick instead of daily part of living, what a wonderful thing. :)

Yeah, I know how you feel.
