I've noticed that I'll vape all day and have no problem with tasting the flavors. But by later evening, I get no flavor. Last night when it happened, I switched over to some very strong flavored juices I have, and still got zero flavor from any of them. I tried with both my ego and my 5v box mod, tried both cartos and atty/dripping. Nothing. Like my taste buds were shot.

Oddly- I went to a Vape Meet on Saturday, and spent about 3 hours vaping all sorts of flavors non-stop (luckily they were all 0mg nicotine or I would have OD'd LOL). And then Saturday night I stayed up until 1am playing a video game and vaping, and never lost flavor.

Sometimes we just go through flavor cycling. Everything seems to lose its flavor and then the flavor comes back. It happens to pretty much all of us. Sometimes if you've been vaping the same flavor most of the day, your taste and sense of smell have just gotten used to it. Other times it's caused by colds and allergies. Even a slightly runny nose can cause problems with taste.

What are you vaping? I've heard about this happening with some of the strong cinnamon flavors, especially Atomic Cinnicide.

Nope, no cinnamon- I learned that lesson a few weeks ago LOL. My main vapes now are Watermelon, Green Apple, and Mad Hatter. Nothing extreme there. But last night I moved to some more extreme flavors like Cinnamon Bun, Pina Colada, and Irish Creme, and still tasted nothing

It happens, especially when you're new. About 1 month into vaping I went through a 2 week period where I could taste my flavors for only the first few hours of the day, and then it was like I was vaping water. A little later it happened again but it only lasted about a week.

I think it has to do with getting liquid juice in the mouth, I noticed it happening with the 510 carts I was using, but as soon as I switched to cartos and the ego-t it never happened again. I think overfilling or leaks give you a "bubbly" vape that shoots liquid juice into your mouth.

The problem goes away eventually, either I got used to it, or changing over to carto avoided the problem alltogether, lately I've been getting the occasional day where my flavors taste really bitter and/or harsh even if I put in a new carto. It only lasts for a day though.

I'm having the same exact problem. One month in and can't taste anything! I'm craving my beloved Wyatt Earp and can't get no satisfaction!!! h/t Mick! I also came down with a raging ear infection last week and an eye infection too!!! I'm just a freaking mess! It's been two days and no taste at all. Went to the doctor and got on some antibiotics for my ear and eye, so don't know if that has anything to do with my taste or not. Just very frustrating.
