No throat hit from my DIY

I am using USP VG, Loranns flavoring and unflavored nicotine along with the calculator provided here and I don't taste the flavoring too much and no throat hit. I am making a 12mg nic Pina colada flavor and the 11mg from bestecig gives me a throat hit. Is it the VG? or am I doing something else wrong? Thanks

I've read that some people add Pure Grain Alcohol for throat hit, it when thats not available some add 100 vodka.

I can't report on its functionality because Everclear (PGA) is not legal in Idaho, and I haven't made it to Wyoming yet.

pure grain alcohol as in rubbing alcohol? I can get everclear here in tx. How much should I throw in something like 5ml or 10ml mix?

I don't know squat about mixing my own but pure grain is bought at a liquor store and is drinkable (sort of) unlike rubbing alcohol.

I remember reading VG has less TH than PG. Other than that I can't help.

everclear vodka any high proof drinking alcohol.. for throat hit

if you do not taste it add a bit more flavoring few drops flavoring and a few drops of higher concentration unflavored liquid..

I have not tried my pina colada flavor yet but have found with all the other fruit flavors that a drop or 2 of cotton candy flavoring in a sample size bottle brings out the flavor more

It's probably the VG. Try adding some PG to help with throat hit if it doesn't bother you. Do NOT add rubbing alcohol!! Vodka is fine for DIY.

Either try vodka or PGA.

As far as flavor if your using alcohol to extract a flavor make sure you heat it long enough for the alcohol to evaporate leaving a more concentrated flavor.

If your not extracting the flavor before you add it in and it's not already a concentrate. Extract it first then add it to your e-juice.

Just realized that my calculations were way off. The calculator from the forum measured on drops and my drops were a lot smaller. So I used my syringe to make a new 5ml using the calculator and the amount given. Worked out great, now I'm getting a nice throat hit at 12mg. Still might try the alcohol though, if it doesn't work I can always just make jello shots
