We got a little snow too!! Just enought to make everything all pretty and white :)

'moring :) I made a cherry cobbler to go with my coffee today - didn't get a pic of it before it got torn into lol. Guess I'll have to make another. Well, I'll share what's left and a cuppa joe:

Telynau - welcome to the fun - and the angst - LOL:( of DIY.

Pissy - I will make that cobbler again and get a real photo if I can figure out how to make it without waking anyone with the yummy smell!! Used cherries we picked this summer - still have more - I just don't have the knack with pie crust but cobbler dough is easy peasy (don't tell my fam - I let them think it's even more complicated )

Hi everyone, missed a couple of days and am catching up. :)

Cisme, I love your avatar! (In case it changes, it's a cat in Christmas lights, with the caption "I'm in ur litez, eatin' ur voltz.") This is why we don't have a Christmas tree. Two of our cats love to chew on electrical cords (and phone cords and keyboard cords, etc.) We don't want fried kitty for Christmas!

TY - love yours, too! Our furbabies are old enough now they don't bother the lights on the tree but, we can't have decorations. They will pull the tree over to make sure they get every single one. So, we just have lights. And I have to keep anything with fiber optics up and away. I have one that can't resist the sparkly, shiny stuff.

WTG groupie! and Congrats Pretty!

*raising hand* We had rain one day! I even wore long pants today. :D

Heya Cisme! Glad you got some rain- out there y'all frequently need it :)

Randa, I dunno if it'll fit for you, but about 6 months in to vaping, i started having symptoms that felt like anxiety, especially in the morning after vaping and drinking my normal amount of coffee. For me, it turned out that it was a cue that my nicotine levels (and caffeine) were too high. When i decreased the nic concentration and cut the amount of coffee, the anxiety feelings went away. The first time it happened i went from 24mg to 18 mg, the second time i went to 12mg. It was completely unexpected and took a little while to figure out. ( it took even longer 'cause i was used to smoking to calm anxiety- so when the anxiety started i vaped more. I had to learn that now i have to hold off vaping for 10-15 minutes if it starts)

Ok this might sound lame. I got a B on my last stats test and my final is next week. I have to get an A. I have a 3.9 GPA and I am so obsessed with keeping it. I have to apply for grad school in a year. As a mom I don't have the luxury of doing all those extra curricular activities and clubs and whatnot for psych majors. My GPA has to stay high.

Plus you know, my daughter. I decided we are goin to give meds a try. I could benefit from being re medicated. Studies have shown long term decreased risk for risky behavior and self medication for ADHD kids who are properly medicated. I've got a promise from her teacher to watch her for any signs of personality muffling and other negative side effects.

I was a risky behavior kid. I can't let that happen to my daughter.

And my throat hurts
