Squeaky Fromme (Manson follower and attempted murderess -- on Ford) is being released from prison this week. It's been 30 YEARS!*!*
Sheesh, 30 years ago, I was...errr...kinda hard to remember back then.
Oh yes, I was 26...getting out of the army after 3 years of service...was engaged (broke up that December)...moved to Richmond, VA...was XXX lbs lighter (hahaha), drove a Mercury Capri, was still on the shy side, had a cat named Zeke. Hmmm, guess that's all I can remember!!

Squeaky! That's a blast from the past..a blast of rotten air that is!
30 years ago..I was 28, we had a new (new to us that is) house in Tampa the kids were in Elementary school and Mike was just a few years from retirement from the A.F. the BeeGee's were big.
Emmett Kelly the wonderfully sad circus clown died that year, Carter was President and the bunny attacted him when he was fishing (or hunting) in Plains Ga.. Patty Hearst was let out of jail, I remember that because my neighbor's name was Patty Hearst (not the same).
All in all a kinda dull year.
Well except for the Kelly being born part!

I do remember that year because as I said we moved next door to Patty Hearst (and it was a big deal because the famous Patty was in the news) My grandmother is very distantly related to Kelly's family, And my step daughter moved to Albany Ga. that year..it;s just down the road from Carter's home.(again it was in the news and she was excited to call and tell me all about it) So all those things impacted me so I remember, don't ask me what else happened or what happened the next year! My memory extends only so far and I can't find my keys or glasses the rest of the time!
Oh I'm just joking, revealing my age never has bothered me and certainly doesn't now. I just found it amusing.
I've never minded either...only now, I look over my shoulder and wonder who just said, "I'm 56."
