I'll be outside at midnight, carrying on the family tradition of letting the girls bang pots and pans at midnight. After doing it last year, its all they are talking about now! Staying up late to make lots of noise outside lol. After the ball drops, of course

We are invited to a party but I really don't feel like going...... I'm partied out already. Not sure. Maybe go out to dinner? that would make me happy!

I forgot about leap year!

I'm going to a friend's party. It's an annual event with traditions from around the world. Everyone brings food and drink, we do a burning man , drip candle wax into water to tell our fortunes for the coming year and stuff like that. it's fun (and close to home).

I'm really looking forward to it. Though the person who has the party had to do some major work on her kitchen to keep the floor from falling in. The work is all done except for the priming and painting of the wall board that had to be redone. Get to help prime and paint after work tonight....it'll be a group of people so it'll be fun, but I'm looking forward to that a teensy bit less than the actual party.

I have a few parties but there's really only one I care about. The crush will be there...I hope he'll be my kiss at midnight.

Some developments have been made, he told a friend he liked me and we had been "going at it for half a year" (apparently we have different definitions of "going at it...") but he walked me home on Monday and we kissed a few times.

I think this is actually happening, haha.

We had a great Christmas! The first Christmas party I ever hosted was a success! The youngest girls loved their Christmas gift, they even played with it rather than the box that it came in lol. I got a lot of games to play, including a kinect with kinect sports, dance central 2, fruit ninja lol. I was SO SORE on Monday! Being the controller is a real workout, but it's much more fun! Hubbs was laughing at me when i was playing the dance game and recorded a video He's gonna get hurt if he shows that to anyone

We celebrated New Years last night because I have to work New Years Eve night and New Years morning. Hubbs drank like a glass and a swallow of the wine before he fell asleep on the couch, I drank the rest of the bottle and a martini Just a wee bit tipsy...lol!

Hello! Hope you all are having a good week. I've enjoyed reading about the New Years plans. New Years Eve is my love's and my dating anniversary. Maybe next year I'll be posting that we got married on New Years eve. (hopes so) This year we couldn't because of his surgery. We love the day because of the fireworks. How romantic to smooch under the pretty fireworks. My love and I were childhood sweethearts. We reconected 2 years ago. I feel so lucky to have him again.

I also wanted to comment to Pam. My parents left my sisters and I alone at home on New Years eve when I was little. We use to bang pots and pans at midnight. I will never forget how much fun we had. We also played crazy eights and made prank phone calls. lol Of course this was back in the day before caller i.d.

I guess that is all for now. I'm off to look for some sales and contests! HUGS

Good morning womens room! I enter the room once again dragging into work late, but not as bad as yesterday morning!! lol

I'll be so glad when school starts again. Woke up at 1:30 to the sound of jiffy pop popcorn being made by my daugther and her friend. Of course I had to get out of bed and eat a couple of handfuls. Was just told we may be closing at 2:00 today so that would be awesome.
