You have got to see this! A woman was hit by a hit and run driver while out jogging with her dog and the dog ran as fast as he could away (he may also have been hit judging from his injuries) he ran out of land and swam out into the ocean where this guy found him! He was microchipped and treated by a vet and recouping at home with his recovering owner.

Just popping in to say hi waving smiley-1.gif Mary Kay, I'll have to pass on the article. I avoid with a vengence anything about animals that can make me sad. I will just be happy that he is recovering. Yes, yes, when it comes to animals, I can't live without my rose-colored glasses. Or blinders. :|
