I live in Oklahoma, where we get snow most winters, but not enough that people are good at driving on it. boy! Are they not good at it!
In fact, the maniacs come out bigtime when anything at all comes down from the sky.
That said, once in every few years, we get a deep snow. Something around 8 - 12 inches, which is deep here. I am fully prepared to stay home and wait it out until the roads are clear. But the fun part is my dogs! My doxie doesn't like getting his little weenie wet, so barely goes out at all. But my Shepherds just love the snow. They rip and roll and wrestle, and even turn somersaults! No kidding. I had no idea a dog could even do that, but they certainly can. Then they come in, shake the snow all over the place, and go back out and start all over again. My back yard is on the east, so when we have a good snow, it usually lasts a while back there, and we have total dog joy for a few days. Very fun.
