Hi, I was unable to get NOALOX in my country, also I cannot find it on any supplier of GG products

On Ebay there are few sellers but all of them ship inside Usa only.

Anyone know where I can buy it ? It need to be from a vendor that ship internationally

Note to GG suppliers: can you add this product to your list of GG accessories ?, would be wonderful to buy all the gear from the same place.

Thanks.

I will tell you some things about vaseline guys. Vaseline protects the threads from tarnish, rust etc. It can be removed very easy. It doesnt affect your hands and you dont need to wash them after its use.

As for the contactivity, there is no problem because threads and contacts are too big on GGTS so they dont need noalox. Noalox doent offer anything at all, only cleaning trouble. We need noalox when we have very small surfaces that touch each other or very dirty surfaces that are impossible to get cleaned. Noalox is useless on GG as every other product like this. Also vaseline goes in every thread on GG and its safe too.

Thanks Imeo for you opinion, I will use Vaseline for every thread and thats all, in fact I always use it, I also agree is very easy to clean and not toxic at all.

I wanted to test noalox especially in the zone of contact of the button pin with the center post because sometimes I get misfires on my GGTS. The nickel-plate of the center post and the pin of the button show some degradation or wear in the zone where they touch each other.
But I will forget the noalox and I will do some polish in the zone of contact to see if I fix the issue, I always had this issue from new(my GGTS have two months), but it don't have this problem on my GGTB, although the GGTB is no nickel-plated in the button pin and center post. maybe nickel is not good for electrical contacts ?

nickel is very good for contacts and better than pure brass or aluminium because it doent leave black marks on the touching areas Joseph. If you have misfires then you will lubricate with autosol the base of the button and the axis where it touches. If you see that its not enough and you still have misfires then unscrew button and clean the button inside, the head of the button that goes inside the button's case and strech a little the spring. I tell you those things because salt of water (white marks) are around some areas that they left from the cleaning prossedure of the nickel parts

Vaseline is also the best way I found for cleaning the threads: what I usually do is put copious amounts of vaseline on the threads, wait a few mins for it to set in (10-20) and then wipe it off, using some cloth rag. All the grime that gets caught in the threads comes off as well this way. After this I reapply a small amount as lubricant for the threads and I am done.

What should be in every suppliers stock imo is some safe cleaning kit for the ggs. Like the ones hif used on his videos...

i made a video for you Joseph

8-o8-o8-o woooo !!! this is real live tech support !!!!!!

Thanks Imeo, I just did the same procedure as you did in the video but without taking apart the button axis and till now it's working perfect without any misfires.

I don't have Autosol here (I don't think this brand is available in this country) but I used "Brasso Brilla metal", I think is the same product.

Thanks again for your instructional video, you are a master :toast:

thanks Joseph my friend:) As for the product you use its a product that shines metals so its ok, no problem.

The common issue is the axis and the base of the button, so if you clean them you are ok the most of the times. The need of dissasembling button is rare but I tried to show all the prossedure that someone must take to eliminate any possible issue with contacts
