Noalox update

Well I have been using the noalox on my xhaler for a little over a month or so now and started to notice the performance was not quite as good as it had been. I cleaned and reapplied the noalox and it is back to like new. I guess that things should be cleaned and noalox reapplied about once a month. I just thought I would share this.

Thanks for the update to let people know.. Thats what they recommend doing for all the mods. Once a month or so to clean them up and re apply the Noalax.

Makes sense as dirt and ect would get trapped in the Noalax.

hmmm... I'm going to make a stop at my hardware store on the way home from work and give this a shot. Mine is still kicking, maybe because I've been cleaning it with alcohol on a regular basis, but I'm sure the noalox won't hurt.

Good to know. Between pushing the button a lot and getting weak hits I thought I was getting terrible battery life. I suspect Noalox is a good solution. I'll get some at a hardware store today. The bottle I bought online was all sticky and dirty (coming straight from Amazon...that's surprising) and I have to return it.

OX-100 or GB OX-GARD is basically the same thing as the Noalox. I went to a local electrical supply store to buy mine Noalox and they did not carry it but gave methe OX-GARD. It works great and according to the guy there is the same thing just a different brand

I too was beginning to think that my 3v batts were starting to get weak and had started using the 3.6v batts. I did the cleaning and reapplied the noalox and it was like new batteries again.

Yup!! I gave my sister a tube of the Ox-Guard last night. This morning she called to say she loves that stuff!! Like a brand new unit

She also mentioned ordering another Xhaler for backup so I think she's hooked!!

Don't forget to clean the threads on the brass adapter and aluminum tube with a paper towel. You can apply a little dab of Noalox there too, for better contact and smoother operation...
