Noalox

I bought a 4 oz bottle of Noalox by Ideal today to put on my battery threads. I watched a YouTube demo of some guy using this stuff but it was clear. Mine is black. It's soft enough to squeeze thru the pointy nozzle but it's black. Did I get the wrong stuff?

Mine is a dark grey color too. All I've ever seen is the grey stuff.

Was the vid for Noalox or a conductive grease?
I have seen several clear conductive greases.

Yup,its what we use.

Could just be the lighting in the video, noalox is dark grey in color.

Thank you all for reassuring me that I bought the right stuff. When I looked at it in the bottle it looked black but when I squeezed some out it was dark gray.

You could I suppose but I clean my connector threads pretty much daily so I haven't seen a need to. Also, if you got too much in there it could possibly cause a short between the + and - contacts.
