Hello, I am new to vaping. I've been a bit overwhelmed by all the options available so I visited a local smoke shop to see what they had in stock before running off to buy a kit. I really wanted something simple, preferably with USA made ejuice. I tried several models and picked one called Noble Smokes. The clerk told me the cartomizers were filled with USA ejuice and that Blu cartomizers would also fit it.

I asked what kind of battery it is, but the clerk sort of brushed the question off as unimportant. I thought that certainly I would be able to find that information online, so I grabbed a couple of batteries, a charger and a few cartomizers.

No such luck. The only thing I have been able to determine is that the ejuice in the cartomizers is not USA made. This makes me question whether Blu cartomizers would fit either. That's a bummer as I would rather pay $2- $3 for a cartomizer online, rather than the $4 for this brand.

So, someone here has used this little number certainly? It is very nearly the size of an analog king. The battery is black with a green LED. There is a green leaf and the words Noble Smokes on the LED end. The cartomizers, I have 2 types, have a vine pattern and each has a different website on it, noblesmokes.com and noblevapors.com. About half of the cartomizer tip is tightly threaded, perhaps 5 threads.

Does anyone know what battery type this is? Thank you!

Can't tell from the picture.

The blu e-cigs are 510 fittings. So if they do in fact fit, it's a 510.

There's no specs that I saw on the site as to voltage (probably 3.2 but who knows) or ohms.

Do you happen to have a multi-meter?

Find somone that uses blu and you can test it by screwing on an old carto. Or fork over the $$$ to see if they fit.

It looks like the typical "cigalike" looking knock-off model that is poor performing.

Rule of Thumb: generally, the more it looks like the real thing, the worse the performance.

If you want to continue to vape, I would suggest at a minimum looking for a model like the variable volt Kgo or even the VW iTaste V3 which are the size of a cigar or a sharpie pen. They will definitely out perform the model you got from the smoke shop.

And FYI, vaping was invented in China and 90% of all eliquid made/used comes from China. 99.99% of all the atomizers, cartomizers and clearomizers come from China.

Here are some links to those models:

Totally agree 100%. Cigalikes have their place, a very limited place, imho. I could not quit on them myself...NOT ENOUGH POWER/BATTERY LIFE!!! Did quit with Twists and Strong Juice. When I quit, I did think that something that looked like an analog would be best for me, and I found the idea attractive. The reality is that you can only make strong enough gear so small, and the stick battery is the smallest that would work for me...YMMV. My :2c:.

Thank you both, I guess I'll go see if I can locate a Blu. I'm certain I will upgrade to a "better" model at some point but I tried several and this one fits fine for now. :)

If you feel you have to have a cig sized model, don't waste your money on a Blu. The best of the cig sized models is the Vapor4Life or the Smokeless Image Volt. They are much better than the poor performing, over-priced Blu. Here are their sites:

Thanks everyone, I am just going to stick with the cigalike until the lure of analogs is gone. I think it will be fast, as e juice tastes so much better. I bought some blu cartomizers, Vivid Vanilla flavor, and even they taste better than my old Marlboros. And yes, they do fit! So, that would be 510, right?

I bought a bottle of e juice and got instruction on how to refill the cartomizers. I understand I couldn't reuse them much, due to the atomizer being cheaper- but once I get that down I'm sure I'll upgrade to a better system. I bought two batteries and fully charged, they lasted a full day- but I was using both. They darn near blinked out in unison, so yes, stronger batteries will be nice to have- soon.
