not another "the sky is falling" post??? :)
Folks, the sky is not falling. The FDA will eventually regulate the sale and commerce of e-cigs as a tobacco product, just the same as regular cigarettes. Yes, alot of mom and pop juice sellers will fall by the wayside when that happens. But keep in mind, Pamela and I knew this years ago when we started this company.
Eventually the future of e-cigs is going to be e-cig stores in each individual state. And trust me, FreedomSmokeUSA will be there for you..
ok end of sky is falling rant :)

I hope you're right David but it sure appears that it's their attempt to slam the breaks on to all tobacco products from being sold over the internet. Without internet sales, majority of us are up sheetz creek.

all tobacco products are already not able to be sold over the internet. The FDA has just not ruled e-cig juices as tobacco products. Yet, But trust me it is coming. Hence our expansion into other states. Fear not we will be there for you. It's all the other internet mom and pop juice companies that won't survive.
Good post though, people need to remain informed.
The exact same reason we went so long without a credit card processor. We wanted one that was rock solid, and good with this industry. Others will suffer the same fate and have to deal with it like we did. Changes are coming, for sure. But we have spent many countless hours, and days, preparing for it. The other sellers will find out soon enough....

Unfortunate for us Aussies though. If we can't buy juice from America, we have to vape no nic juice only. So I hope this doesn't happen til I'm no longer nic dependant!

Regulations in the U.S. will not affect International sales. That's good news for you.

I'm waiting for walmart to jump on the e-cig bandwagon. Once they do you can expect their weight and size to be big enough to stock e-cigs in every store. May not be our juices in it, but it will atleast be available :)

My WalMart is now selling ecigs and filled cartos. Not inexpensive! $13 and change + tax for 5 cartos, I think.

Yep, WalMart already has 'em.

The biggest issue will be making sure the buyer is old enough, and then, any tobacco taxes getting paid by the buyer. That is the only real gripes/issues I can foresee. This will close a lot of small internet vendors down.

You can buy tobacco on the internet, you just have to provide your D.O.B. and SS#. D.O.B. for age, SS# for taxing you. I used to buy cigs that way and stopped when the ban was on, then lifted - but with the SS#. I wasn't into giving a cig company my SS# over the internet, so I went back to going to the store once a month for them. This was in the last year or so that the ban happened and was lifted.

If this is passed, I believe that the only next step would be to have a class-action lawsuit filed against the FDA by every member of the Vaping community who will be negatively affected by the proposed rule. Surely CASAA could organize this and help get enough publicity to not only make the general public more aware of what the FDA is doing behind our backs, but also hopefully make more people aware of how effective electronic cigarettes truly are.
