I'm a non-smoker, though I have tried different tobacco products (never cigarettes). I find things like smoking pipes and cigars without inhaling the smoke quite relaxing. I'm quite interested in vaping for flavor and relaxation. I was wondering if anyone has any advice for me when it comes to which e-liquids are the most potent and good tasting (looking mostly for sweet flavors) with options for 100% VG and no nicotine.

Jett, welcome to ECF. You need to look at your smoking practices honestly. You don't have to inhale cigar or pipe tobacco smoke to get the tobacco hit. You can get that with absorption through the mouth, throat and nose.

If you really don't smoke at all and don't want nicotine then stay away from vaping nicotine.

If you just want flavor and no drug hit at all, then try non-nicotine PG, VG or PG/VG e-liquids. You will get flavor but no druggie hit at all.

Controlled breathing, meditation or prayer are just as effective at providing a "psychological high" was vaping no-nic juice.

There are many suppliers of non-nicotine e-liquids. Too many to list, actually. Here is a good place to start looking.

Forum Suppliers

I don't use non-nicotine juice so I can't provide a better answer. Others will chime in later. Remember that taste is very subjective when it comes to evaluating e-liquid flavors. The best approach is to try a wide variety of small samples (like 10 ml bottles) to determine what you prefer.

There's a huge difference between an ex-smoker going down to zero nicotine and an admitted non-smoker using an e-cig at zero nic. Those that want to ban e-cigs are looking for stuff like this which shows they're attracting non-smokers.

Jeff, is that you? ;) Really, people??!!?? You have no idea why he is wanting this, your just jumping his case about it. Perhaps he used to smoke and quit, now has a smoking girlfriend and he is fighting the urge to start again. He wants her to quit and he doesn't want to start back up. What would you suggest in a possible scenario like that?? Perhaps he should start smoking again so that he can quit and then use an ecig? Would that be a better course of action? You haven't a clue as to why! He is an adult, he is not a teen. Who are you to tell him he has no business.....not even knowing his business?

Now, to help the poster. Yzer gave you a great starting point. There are so many suppliers that it will make your head spin. Just always remember what ever you try, try just a sample size.

I don't recommend you smoke or vape at all if you can help it. What your asking for is to borrow trouble and I'm sold out of trouble right now. Vaping is not a proven science. It's better than smoking, that much we know for sure, but it's not better than being a non-smoker. The biocide Acrolein is created when you take propylene glycol or vegetable glycerin and burn it (VG does have a higher flashpoint though which is why some people believe it to be the safer of the two chemicals that are the main components of e-juice). The safe limit of Acrolein is much higher than the tiny amounts we may or may not be producing with our ecigs, but no one knows 100% for sure.

Avoid the trouble, the expense, and the hassle of even joining this group of vapers. Be a non-smoker, non-vaper. It's the best thing you can be. You are already free. Go for a jog.

You're one of those people that is going to .... this up for those of us that need it. I don't give a .... if you're vaping zero nicotine, you have no business using an e-cig. Word to the mutha. There's no glory or romance in being a recovering addict of nicotine.

Le sigh....
Had to take the low road huh? Vapers are not healthier than non-vapers. He doesn't have an addiction now, why encourage him to get himself one?

I too find this strange but I am not one to judge anyone or tell them what they should or shouldn't do with their lives. So to answer the op almost every vendor sells 0nic juice all you have to do is ask in comments if you do not see it listed. My personal favorites are mom and pop vapor shop and I've recently fell for alice in vapeland. Both of these vendors carry 0nic juice. I do hope you find whatever it is you are looking for, and ex smoker or not welcome to the vaping community.

and ex smoker or not welcome to the vaping community.

Just wanted to second ^^

Can't really help you much other than trial and error. I'm still trying to find what works for me. I switch flavors so much because I haven't been able to find one I can stick with for hours on end. I know it's out there somewhere.

To add to that, he is an adult and there are worse things that he could choose. Instead of being negative why not just help educate him in options. If you dont have something positive to say maybe just keep it to your self. Your talking like gaping is as dangerous as analogs and while there are still questions to bE answered about e-cigs the results from study's say that they are far safer than cigarettes. You chose to pick up cigarettes at some point just like me and I'm glad I found vaping but I would have been more happy to have found vaping (I'm younger) before I found cigarettes.
