Non-subohm option for big enough clouds?

I'm currently sub ohming a Magma clone with Mxjo high drain IMR and tree of life mechanical clone. I would like to experiment with finding a way to get big clouds at over an ohm. Is it possible that using a 4 post rda with a decent number of coils that are built at over an ohm would create enough vapor by sheer surface area? I'm still not building it myself because I'm not confident enough, I usually have a friend do it for me. I'm also not looking to cloud chase, I just want a satisfying amount of vapor and great flavor.

Again, I'm not asking if i can take it to the max over an ohm, because thats probably not possible (Like trying to get better at Halo MLG without Bumper Jumper) I just want a median amount of vapor and satisfying flavor.

Ohms and clouds is a misnomer

You have to produce enough power to achieve your desired evaporation rate.

Mechs are limited and you work with ohms almost entirely to reach that goal. Raise your ohms load and you will need a way to raise you power delivery. i.e. increased Voltage or a Regulated mod.

Try building a coil using some twisted wire. The great thing about a twisted coil is it builds like a low gauge coil but since it's two (or more) thinner, higher resistance wires, it heats up faster.

crxess does make a very good point. I really started to pay more attention to this after I downloaded the micro coil pro app on my phone. The heat coefficient is the most important thing besides your resistance when it comes to performance. Two coils with the same ohm reading are going to perform differently if you are using a different gauge wire or diameter on each. A thicker wire with a lower resistance requires more power to heat up. That's why I'm a fan of twisted coils, they build like a low gauge coil but heat up faster.

Agreed with crxess, with a mech mod you have to build lower ohms to get the clouds you want, with a regulated mod you can get clouds with higher ohm setups.

Take my coil for example, 7 wraps 22AWG 0.5ohm (single coil), I use this on a mech, but I could get the same coil-wick contact area with either a 3ohm 28AWG coil or dual 1.5ohm 28AWG coils (0.75ohm total), neither of the two alternatives would work well on my mech mod, but would be great on a regulated device.
