Noob: Need your help/expertise

I have a Provari v2 and a regular tank. I used cartomizers but got tired because they produce a burnt taste often and I also had to replace them often. So I bought a Killer 705 Atomizer because my friends said that it is better than the cartomizers I used in the past.

The first few puffs was fine, but after some more I started tasting/smelling the burnt flavor again. I was using the American Blend Menthol so my friend said maybe its because of my juice. I switched to another flavor (Choco mint) but again after a few puffs the burnt taste returned.

What am I doing wrong? Is the volt setting too much? (Currently in 3-4V but both producing burnt taste). Is my provari or atty damaged?

At around 4:00, she will suck on the drip tip to see if any bubbles come out of cartomizer's hole(s). This allows the liquid to soak into the carto's filling much better and you shouldn't have a dry burnt taste anymore. Personally, I just suck on the drip tip without taking apart the device (tank is still attached to my provari) until enough bubbles emerge from the cartomizer's hole(s). 4-5 should be fine, don't overdo it or it will flood the cartomizer.

If the cartomizer happens to get flooded (bubbling sound when vaping), simply turn it upside down, blow on the tip and whatever liquid was covering the air hole in the middle of the cartomizer will spurt right out from the threading end of the cartomizer.

I have a Provari Mini and use carto tanks. Been using this combo for a while now and loving it.

Priming is a must and also make sure The silica is not burnt!! Once the silica is burnt, the taste will not go away!!

Yep, I always build my volts up until I find the sweet spot too.

Sorry I am referring to the Killer 705 atomizer. Why does it give a burnt taste? Is it because of the Volts (too high)? Is the juice not compatible?

Safe Vaping Power | Voltage | Resistance | Ohm Chart

Check out that chart.
V - Voltage (The output from your battery that you can adjust).
R - Resistance (Ohms, this is the resistance on your 705 atomizer)
W - Wattage (Optimal should be from 4-8.5 wattage. Exceeding this will most likely melt the wires in your atomizer.)

W = V^2 / R

If the wattage is too high, bring it down a notch. Hopefully someone with a Killer 705 atomizer will help you out if they're experiencing the same problem despite optimizing the whole setup.

Have the same problem Superbry. Got the Killer yesterday, and all I'm getting ATM is burnt taste...
