Hey everyone

I am in information overload at this point and not helping matters is I'm not sure exactly what I want. I'm hoping the very knowledgeable community can point me to the right gear and right vendor(s). A few things I do know I want;

I want a battery mod, the normal batteries don't work as well as I would hope for as much as I'm on the go. Physical size or appearance doesn't matter to me.

I want a setup that uses cartomizers and a website that actually has them in stock. The very few sites I have found that carry any are out of stock.

And I'm on a budget, I have about $100 to spend and if I cant use any parts from my current 901 Im sure that will complicate things..

I currently have a 901 with automatic batteries which is ok but it just doesnt get the job done for me. I need more vapor, longer battery life, and easier to use then refilling a cart every 5 to 10 minutes. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. I want to place an order today so I can get the gear before I become totally disillusioned with my 901 and slip back to more analogs.

I would suggest a Chuck THAG BUILT: A Wolf in Sheeps Clothing!.

My reasons

1. $80.00
2. Can take a 18650 battery which would last you a long time or 2 protected 123 batteries if you wanted to go 6v.
3. Available with 901, they do not sell carts but the unit is heavy duty and customizable in appearance. A 901 usually takes cartomizers too, at least in my experience, but you can double check. If need be just get an adapter for 5 bucks.
4. Can also be used as a weapon! LOL

I'll second the 905 recommendation. Made by DSE which is the company that makes the 901. More expensive than the box mods. Looks very nice though and fells nice and solid. There are threads here on do it yourself box mods which have a cost around $20. I got my 905 kit for a steal ($35) but that dealer is since sold out so I don't have any suggestion where to get one. There is a 905 model sub forum where you can learn more about the model. Some people complain that it turns itself on for no reason. Which is why that 1 dealer was blowing their stock out, they didn't want to deal with that model anymore. I've only had mine a week, it hasn't yet, knock on wood.

The 905 uses the 901 atomizer so any you have now you can still use. Since the threading is the same the adapters for the 901 battery to KR-808 (cartomizer) will work with the 905.

Clouds of Vapor sells adapters for $6. They also have a $30 box mod. They also have Rath juice in Mt. Dewey and Waffle both of which I really like. There is an ECF coupon for them.

Thanks for the replys folks and the PMs. I have been advised by a very helpful person that picking up a screwdriver starter kit would be my best bet and after reading a bit I think their right. cavecom has kits for about $120 and comes with a free extra body. This seems to really cover the longer battery life, more vapor production, and allows me to use some of my current parts as well.
