or can some one give me info on LR and SR

what is the min/max voltage you can or should use on boges LR

LR cartos are "generally" meant more for fixed voltage PVs like the eGo non VV class/ style- 3.2- 3.7 volts. SR give a wider range of upper voltages to be used. LR "generally" up to 4.0 volts and SR, depending on the ohms, form 4.0 volts and up...best to attach a carto and slowly dial voltage up until you hit your "sweet spot". It's ALL a matter of taste and I enjoy a warm vape so I use 1.7, 1.8 ohms @ 4.2 volts.

so you're using a LR at 4.2V i heard if you pass 4V u fry the carto faster

i just used my provari to check the ohm reader and it says my LR carto is at 2.3

Using the same 1.7 Smok Tech XL single coil carto in a tank for 4 weeks now. Also using the same Vivi Nova 1.8 ohms for 8 weeks. I have a multi tester and my Vamo also reads ohms and I test all my cartos/ heads before I use them. Former owner of the Provari.
Worst thing you can do to a carto is allow it to run dry- that's why I use carto+ tank...bit of a learning curve but takes the guesswork out.

It depends on how it tastes. With a 2.3Ω carto, I'd start at 4.3v and dial up or down until I found a sweet spot.

ETA: And like Vapoor eyes er, I always test the resistance; I don't trust what the box says.

Agree 100%...just tested a "1.7 ohms carto" and it measured out @ 2.2...a HUGE difference.

they lasted me only 3 days and i only refilled once. this is normal ? 4th day it still worked but i started to taste something there that wasnt there first 3 days...

If you are only getting three days out of a carto & getting burnt tastes, you are probably running them a bit too dry. You might want to invest in a carto tank & if you already have a tank - get a carto-punch so you can open up the hole (or add another one).

Tanks are pretty reasonably priced, and so are the punches. You don't need to invest in a fancy one - Provari sells the punch for about $40, but there are ones that will do the job available for around $6-7 almost anywhere.

I gave up on carto-tanks for a while because I had the same problem....now I have one with me at all times, and my cartos last literally for weeks, and also give me a lot better flavor. I go through juice a bit quicker - but I'm also enjoying them more, and actually saving money not buying cartos all the time....

Give one a try....

With carto+ tank I get, before tight draw begins:
light juice-80-90 ml
dark juice-50-60 ml
First fill of the carto is VERY, VERY important. It must be fully saturated from top to bottom. It will determine the longevity of the carto. Also have to make sure the # of holes in your carto are okay for the PG/ VG ratio you;re using. I punch my own with nail and hammer BUT worked in construction all my life. Vaping 60/ 40 to 70/ 30 PG/ VG and have one carto hole 2.5 mm wide. Next time you fill the carto try taking it outside and "thermometer" shake towards the batt end of carto- drip more drops and and therm shake again. This is to force the drops to the bottom of the carto.

Yes... you can either enlarge the existing hole, or add another one on the opposite side (preferred). They help keep the carto fully filled with juice - the only trick is to not flood the carto.

I just punch another hole on the opposite side of the existing hole and make it about the same size. If you are using higher VG juices however, you might have to enlarge the holes a bit more. It's easy to do, and once you get the feel for it, only takes seconds. The only real "gotcha" with them is that you can potentially deform the carto tube so that it either leaks, or you can't re-inset it in your tank. They all deform the carto tube to a certain degree (the more expensive one less-so), but if you are careful, you won't have any problems.

There are a number of different styles of punches available, just go with a cheapie at first to see if you like them. Just Google "Carto punch" and you will get lots of hits....

Good luck.
