got my ego-t 2 days ago with some red bull.... very weird but not unpleasant taste experience. Don't know if I see myself vaping candy as a staple but I have no idea if the tobacco flavors like virginia get close to the taste of an analogue. I smoked du maurier analogues. Having said that, I cut my analogues by about 70% right off the bat. I even tried taking alternate draws from analogue and e-cig, and the analogue had a new grossness to it that was encouraging. bottom line...do most long term vapers use a tobacco flavor as a staple or go with more exotic flavors? thanks :)

For me when I started vaping I only wanted something as similar to tobacco as I could find and then something changed and wanted nothing but the gourmet flavors i.e chocolate, vanilla, peach cobler and on and on and then something changed again and wanted tobacco flavors again and wanted nothing to do with the gourmet flavors anymore and now while I still don't want gourmet flavors I do like tobacco with different flavors like caramel, peach, bluebako, cherry and so on ( again ) so that's where I'm at in my vaping world so I guess for me is over time your taste probably will change from time to time....

It's a mixed bag for me (8 months vaping). I vape fuits, bakery, tobaccos and unflavored sometimes. Like to have 3 or 4 PVs loaded with different, opposing flavors for variety throughout the day. Have a kick-you-in-the-pants tobacco at 24mg with a strong TH for a cig crave I vape rarely these days. Good luck on finding juices you enjoy. It's a fun battle :)

I smoked Camel Light for what seemed like forever. My first vape was a sample of Turk-USA tobacco blend from Liberty Flights. Liked it. Also really like the Blackjack tobacco from Blue Mist Vaping. I have not cared for alot of the fruit vapes, but I also dont care for artificial fruit flavoring in anything. Other from Blue Mist I have liked were Key Lime Pie and Belgian Waffle (although this one is rich and buttery for my liking) as well as Rum and Cola. Got an order from Mrs. T's today and only tried one, but let me tell you......this Kentucky Bourbon is like vaping a shot

It depends on the vaper. For my first 2 months of vaping I could not vape food flavors alone - they gave me an analog craving as if I had just eaten. Some new vapers are the opposite and can't vape tobacco flavors because they remind them of cigs and make them want one. And some can be satisfied by anything right away.

After 2 months I could vape food flavors alone, without mixing them into tobacco carts/cartos. Now I like to vape 2 contrasting flavors - one is non-sweet and a cocoa tobacco with almost no tobacco flavors, and one is very sweet vanilla. Some people end up on all non-tobaccos. Some end up vaping tobaccos.

You just need to figure out what currently satisfies you and what, if anything, leaves you antsy.

I've smoked menthol all my smoking life and having tried the menthol-flavored e-cig I thought it's all I needed. Now I want something different. It's probably because when you smoke, you take long breaks in-between session. When you vape, it's so enjoyable that you want to vape all freaking day. Haha... Over time you want something different instead of the same flavor all day.

So I'll probably try something aromatic. Something that is not only pleasant on your palate but on your nose. I want to brag about this new technology and smoke people's faces with it and have them smell the aroma and fragrance of the harmless e-cig.

Anything you can recommend that is not only tasty but could make the surrounding area smell like coffee is brewing nearby? Or someone is baking some bread?

I love the bakery/dessert type liquids, but then I'm in a low-carb lifestyle too, so this kills two birds with one stone! I did like a RY4 tobacco I got once, but I don't remember from where - but it's sort of a carmel-vanilla sweetened tobacco. I tried a coffee & cream once but didn't like it. I've liked some of the fruit ones, but only for a short time here in there, like a treat I suppose. My favorites right now is Gooey Better Cake and Momma's Angel Wings (like a rice pudding - and I hate rice pudding!) from Kick Bass Vapor, NY Cheesecake & Strawberry Cheesecake from deejstuff.com, AG's Dream from VapeALicious, French Toast from discount vapers and a few others from Mom&Pop Vapor shop and others.

I just discovered today one called "Grasshopper" that's like a peppermint patty - JUST like it in fact, IMHO, from Mom&Pop - great palate cleanser for me. Smells great too!!

My co-worker (non-smoker) always wants me to blow vapor in her face so she can smell my new flavors! So some of them really do have a nice fragrance as well as flavor!

There are tons to choose from and everyone has a favorite supplier. Try to stick with the suppliers registered here on ECF and you should have a great experience. It takes time to find the ones you like. Remember taste is subjective, so it's really hard to trust everyone's opinion on flavors and vendors (for example, I know some people who *hate* the Momma's Angel Wings I mentioned above).

Just have fun doing it, and know when you find ones you like, you'll be saving money and your health at the same time! :D

Drumzy, welcome to the ECF!

I vaped tobacco flavors (you could try Vapor4Life's Wowboy and 555 for sweet/caramel tobaccos) at first, also. Now I vape mostly stronger tobacco flavors (FreedomSmokeUSA's Wyatt Earp, Rocking Chair, RY4, and PureCig which tastes as close to an analog as possible). I also like to add flavors like vanilla, cherry, pina colada, and flavored creams. I also vape coffee flavors; my current favorite is FreedomSmokeUSA's expresso mixed with some whipped cream juice from the same vendor.

As everyone of us has experienced, what tastes good/bad may quite possibly change again as your taste bugs heal. Find what you like to vape at this moment of the journey and wait to see where it takes you!

Happy Vaping!

I started vaping because i was an exclusive clove smoker...and it was getting harder and harder to get shipments. I had even started making my own, which weren't bad...but not the same. Searching for recipes, i found this forum where some folks were figuring out how to make a juice that tasted like Djarum blacks....and that did it for me.

I started with some cloves flavors, and got some caramel also....liked it much better than cloves! LOL
I mixed caramel and banana....mmmm, my fave for the past 2 weeks.

Somewhere out there
I rotate between flavors. My Halo tobaccos are always may staples, but I also vape fruits, desserts, etc. When I really get a strong urge to smoke an analog I have some DIY Virginia and Camtel from Flavour Art that tastes pretty close to an actual cig and that puts the urge away for me. Especially if you mix it too strong like I did, it makes me really not want a cigarette! LOL Now that is diluted it it is ok, but still too strong for me. bnrk

oh my fave coffee is from Rockstar and my fave DIY coffee gourmet is Cafe Napoleon, yummy. Also my fave tobacco is Halo Tribeca and Prime.
