Hi,

Sorry but I am a noob I have ordered a prosmoke to start me off and I think it will be here tomorrow.

If I can adapt to it which i hope i can :) I plan on make a few purchases please let me know your thoughts.

I want to get a 510 in the next month or so but I also want to order a USB bypass VERY SOON for the prosmoke.
My idea was to order the prosmoke to 510 battery adaptor along with a USB bypass for a 510. Will that work ok?

Ok next i hear alot about the joye 510, the titan 510(totally wicked). Which is better or are they the same?

And last one for now
The ego is this basically ONLY a battery difference? Could I order a reg 510 with a couple extra ego batteries and that would be the same thing as an ego? and would an ego battery fit a titan 510

Thanks for your help

I wish vendors as a whole would be more informative. Yes, every ego and ego clone comes standard with a 510 fitting. Im not even sure anyone offers a ego with a different atomizer connection unless you use an adapter. the joye 510 has clones too.. the titan is one of them. Some people rave about "genuine joye" products.. I personally think your just paying for a brand name.

An few ego batteries and 510 atty's will work fine togather.

Your Prosmoke only come with a single atty, for $59.99 if I'm looking at the correct site?

Do they have money back warrenty? You can get a eGO, with a couple of attys for less,
and spend the extra $$ on juice. :)

The eGo battery (comes with two) lasts me the whole day, and that's for a 1 1/2 pad
analog smoker. I went thru two disappointing setups before upgrading to ego and am
finally finding satisfaction. :vapor:
It's easy to use, good taste, good vapor, and will accept all kinds of 510 carts, cartos,
batteries, adapters, etc...

truthfully I ordered the prosmoke for a few reasons. I know its a good one from all the youtube reviews I watched and they are very close to me so I will get it in 2 days.

They other is I want to also convert my mom and my sister and I think that the small design will intrigue then to try it because its the same size as a cig. If i like it after a few weeks I want to order a 510 for me and try to get one of them to try it out.

Anyway I am pretty set on getting an eGo I think now lol everyone seems to really like them. Im going to try to watch a few videos on them now. They are manual battery right?

If you're thinking about getting a 510, you might as well go with the eGo or Tornado from Totally Wicked, they're the same product. The eGo is a 510 but with bigger, longer lasting batteries. The eGo/Tornado does take a different charger than the 510. If you try to charge an eGo on a 510 charger, it takes a lot longer for the battery to charge. If you try to charge a 510 on an eGo charger, you can kiss your batteries goodbye because they literally can catch fire!

It really depends on how much you're going to vape as to which one will work best for you, the 510 or the eGo. If you find that you're an all day vapor, you're better off with the eGo since the batteries last a lot longer before needing to be recharged.

WOW well I def don't want to kill batteries or have them catch on FIRE! I would be ok with waiting for charging. So a regular 510 charger can charge an eGo just takes longer correct?

I found this site from youtube videos and they seem to have good prices.

Here is the ego
JOYE EGO ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE - BLACK

But now it has me thinking of maybe ordering
JOYE 510 ELECTRONIC CIGARETTE STARTER KIT - BLACK

and then just ordering 2 of the ego batteries
JOYE EGO MANUAL BATTERY - BLACK

Has anyone tried to order from these guys? Are they cheap knockoffs or actually good.

Thanks again for all your help

OK
EGO kit from LiteCig is $55. Agree with Heart.

As far as the question if the EGO is "only" battery difference the answer is - yes and no.

Most eGO users prefer low resistance atomizers. These are not recommended for the standard 510 battery as the drain is too high and will likely ruin them. Therefore, while battery life is the biggest advantage with them over the standard 510 - it is not the only one.

I know nothing about mikeusa.com, but they have a 900mAh eGo for $15.99. That's the lowest price I've seen yet, but it's on sale there at the moment. A 900 eGo will last longer than a 650 eGo before needing to be recharged. I like the 900s the best. They last me for 9 hours when vaping non-stop. Their 650mAh eGo kits are $3 more than the 650mAh eGo kits at litecigusa.net.

Goodprophets has the eGo 900mAh batteries on sale for $19.99, down from $21.99, and litecigusa.net currently has the 900s for $21.95.

I wouldn't buy a 510 but would go for an eGo. The 510 battery would need to be recharged more much more often than an eGo.

The fast eGo charger takes 3 hours to charge any eGo battery. The 510 chargers will take longer, but I don't know how long. Don't use an eGo fast charger to charge any batteries except for eGo batteries, or those other batteries will be ruined.

All 510 parts will fit all sizes of eGos.

You sure are pushing those low resistance atomizers lately! :) I find no need to buy any, since I get great throat hits, vapor, and flavor using the standard atomizers (when I use atomizers, that is). I don't think most eGo users prefer LR atomizers, but I could be wrong. I see no reason to shorten the overall life of my eGo batteries by using LR atomizers.

I think this poster is trying to decide whether to buy a 510 or an eGo kit and isn't concerned with LR atomizers at this point. That discussion would probably be better in the General Members area and not in this New Members area.

+1 One important difference to me, I'm less concerned, (a little less) that i will have what I need to last the day when i leave in the mornings. Couple of carts and I'm good.

OP, my first kit was a 902 from modernvapor (its 510 hardware) and I really enjoy it. I just got an ego battery today and aside from it being totally awesome and beautifully sleek I think it hits better. Maybe I'm just excited with my new toy but I seem to get a more intense flavor and more vapor on my ego using the same cart/atty i was using on my 510 battery. I also got a LR atty with my order as well but I haven't tried it out yet. I got it for dripping and my co-workers would give me stares if they saw me dripping at work lol.

Hoppyy: your avatar is both terifying and hilarious!

Yea it looks like i am going to go with an eGo if things go right.

I have another noob Problem sorry :(

I got the prosmoke and i ordered it with 24mg nic carts.

The vap is very thick when I take a nice drag. Like it chokes me to inhale it. (Its not menthol but I ordered 30ml 24mg of Nhale NuPort should be here tomorrow. (but thats another issue)

The plain tabacco flavor is nasty but i can get pasted that until i get a new flavor. Is it so thick because of VG or because its 24mg or am i doing it wrong lol

After just a few hits I start to get a headache so I am thinking that the nic is too high for me. I am a 2 pack a day newport smoker for many years. I vaped ONLY from 3pm - about 7pm maybe 2 or 3 hits every half hour. When I got the headache I took a motrin and laid down for 30mins or so. Then i started just smokeing my cigs for now. I will give this another attempt once I figure out what I need to change.

Any other tips would be great.

Well, VG causes more vapor, so I don't know if you really want to add any more VG, if you're already getting too much vapor.

The 24mg of nicotine could be causing the headache, but VG is sweet, so that could be causing the headache, too. I'm not sure. I know that 24mg was too much nicotine for me. 18mg is about right for me.

Yea i was thinking its a cross between the VG and high nic that is too strong for me. I have NuPort coming tomorrow and its 30ml PG 24mg

My plan is to use the Nuport as a base of my testing. i will use 1.5ml of the base and then add .5 of VG which should bring it to 18mg. I hope that will prove ok for me.

Anyone know why juice makers all don't offer a 0mg on all juices? If they did I would order 24mg and 0mg and then I could dilute the nic without losing any flavor. Seems like it would be a benefit to both the user and the maker.
