Hi there! Welcome to the vaping world.

My set-up is: two eGo Twists (650 & 1000), eGo C kit (comes with a charger and 2 regular 650 batteries and cartridges and atomizers). Yes,as people have stated the cartridges suck big time, they do work as backup in case any thing fails. Also the two 650 batteries are great backups. I have two Vision Vivi Nova tank systems and extra 24ohm heads. The Vivi Nova has worked the best for me since I can see how much I have in my tank at all times. I plan on getting another charger and more tanks, probably at least two more so I can keep my favorite juices handy. It really does help keep the taste buds fresh by switching juices during the day.

You will hear have plenty of backups. This is so true because it isn't like with cigs in that you can just hop over to the gas station or store to get what you need should anything fail.

Whatever system you decide on, there will always be someone here that will be able to answer any question you should have. juice is the single hardest part of this wonderful journey!! Especially since taste is sooo subjective. We can only point you to what we personally like. So I will! :p

Heathers Heavenly Vapes has very good juice and they DO NOT clog up the heads. My heads are lasting twice as long with their juice than with any others I have tried. I have four heads that I have to rewick from trying other juices. Since finding HHV, I am on the same heads for two weeks now and still going strong.

Finding your flavor profile is tough at first, when you do, it becomes much easier to look for juices. I tried many different kinds and have found I am a fruit person :D

Good luck and enjoy your new journey!

Two of mine are Mountain Oak Vapors and The Vapor Room. Two great companies and run by some wonderful people. Juice is hard to suggest as others have said, that is why I suggest the free samples list. Gives you more to try and less you have to spend.

Ahlusion is also really good, there down right now due to some moving issues. The Smooth Criminal is a great tobacco flavor.

Johnson Creek if you like tobacco flavors

Alien Vision

Mom and Pop Vapor Shop is a new favorite as well. Their Butterfly Bait and Caramel are insanely good.

Halo

Vape Dudes natural line is great

Vaperite also has organic juices

Lots and lots of great people making great juices out there right now.

Hi, just wondering how do I get the banner you have CASAA ? I don't know how to do that and I think it's important. I think it should be mandatory for anyone that wants to become a member on this site, must first sign up as a CASAA member! 5 posts and a signature of CASAA. thanks

I agree completely and although residing in Canada joining CASAA was one of the first things I did after finding out about them.

Here's instructions on downloading the CASAA Banner:

So now I'm thinking something like this is the best way for me to go

Sapphire Matte 1100mah Dual EGO KIT [848] : L Js E-Smokes, Electronic Cigarettes

- with an additional cartomizer so I can see the difference and an extra battery (back ups for your back up) and such. In the end - I figure if I spend about 100 bucks to get set up decently - then I can get through that first month and know i have more things coming if a juice flavor or what not doesn't work....

As mentioned that PV only fires @ 3.3 volts. Also it comes with the "tank" system that's prone to leaks:

KIT INCLUDES

(2) Batteries, Manual Switch, 1100mah
(2) Atomizer / Cartomizer Cover Cones
(1) USB Battery Charger
(1) USB Home Wall Adapter
(2) 510 Short Atomizers
(5) Blank Atomizer Cartridges
(1) Gift Box

If you're willing to spend about $100 I would consider going straight to a Twist Kit. Sold out but a Starter Twist 1000 mah Kit for $45.00. You may want to contact them as to when their next shipment arrives.
eGo CE5 C-Twist 1000 mah Kit
Also as Halloween nears there should be some great sales coming out:

First question that has to be asked is what us the budget

The Kgo is in the same price point as the eGo but provides more than the ego. The budget will really take a hit if he buys an eGo and finds out that it's too weak with it's little 3.4 volt battery. Plus you have to pay extra for a 1000 mAh battery with the ego, which comes standard on the Kgo.

everything does indeed help - I've apparently got around a 200 dollar budget - ego's are supported at one local place I found (should I need quick replacement pieces and parts - clearomizers carts and all that...they even say they are getting twists soon) they have the c starter kit at about 30 dollars more than what I'm finding online - but I'm starting to see that perhaps building my own is truely the way to go.

The good news is the local joint has juice - and they are totes willing to order in specific stuff for regular customers! :)

Ok - so I did shop tonight - I got a twist starter kit in silver. 2 full set ups - charger and 5 cartomizers. I got them filled.

Once they are empty I can refill them yes? How would I go about doing it? A link to an appropriate thread would be helpful here...

I also - went to another site - and got a back up twist battery a couple of clearomizers and some random juice that flavors sounded good. (I like the comparison to trying wine/beer. I am a bit of a wine nerd so yes - I'm excited to try all the different juices available to me :) )

I think with that - and the local joint close by, I should be set to start rocking and rolling! I can't wait for it all to get here!!! :D
