The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
I hope this shows up. With a clear drip tip if u can keep a ring of juice like this on your 306 it will work well for u. A little more or a little less is ok too.

Hi guys
Well I've been vaping on my new black & gold Reo Mini 18490 for about a week now. Really loving it & saving up for a nice stone drip tip to make it purdier. :)
But here's a problem I'm having. Hope you can help.
I loved my Smoketech 1.7 ohm XL cartos on my Kgo. I like the vape I get & throat hit @ 3.7 volts. So I figured they would work just as well on the Reo. But they don't. This past week I have burned 2 cartos in the Reo. Got that burning taste that never goes away. So I had to toss them. Right now I'm using Boge LR 2.0 ohm carto cuz I didn't want a burn taste. But the 2.0 ohm vape is not as good as the 1.7 ohm vape.
Now keep in mind that I have metered everything...batteries & cartos...so that is not the problem. Nothing is out of whack meter-wise.
So here's what I'm thinking:
I read that you Reo carto folks use Smoketech SHORTY 1.7 ohm cartos. Could I be having a problem because I'm using Smoketech XLs instead of shorties???
I await your wisdom.

My uneducated guess is that it happens cause the cartos run dry.

My first encounter with cartos on a Reo was not a happy one. They were gurgly and would dry out and burn. Now I've made myself experiment more and found a way that seems to work for me on the shorties and regular size (35mm) Boge and Kanger cartos. I'll have to try on the tank dual coil ones, just have to tape the holes shut.

Prefill the carto first.

When squonking, push on the bottle very slowly, while taking a slow drag from the driptip until you hear a slight gurgle. That means the juice is being pulled through the center tube and over the top into the filler material, instead of just squeezing out of the air holes in the bottom into the catch cup.

I do this every few minutes, and it seems to keep the cartos nice and wet. It's kind of like topping a tankless carto from the top with a bottle, like I'm sure you've done before.
