Well I was gonna tell ya the Cisco lr306 are IMO the best disposables. But I will never need to buy anymore of them now that I have my RBAs and it appears you will likely be there soon too. I will say the RBAs take way less time than disposables. The fiddling and messing around I had to do with the disposables was way more than the time I put into my RBAs. Good luck to you :)

forgot to mention, i'd recommend the Cisco Aero for the Reo any day...

it is sort of a mass produced (as are all his attys except Hanna's HH357) version of the HH357, for half the price... it's great; and imo its more consistent.

Id be watching that instead of posting here, if i hadn't already done that.... great show.
Ever see Deadwood??? the best ever... if you don't mind swear words.

oh btw Reo... RM2 coil/wick; if they weren't so much fun to make, you could clean them pretty darn easily: if you use like nextel or Twik (good stuff) or slilica.

drop the base (with coil/wick attached) in a cup of really hot water.
swish for a minute
take out and blot with paper or other towel.

dry burn safely.... like new.

Cotton is better and should be easy to replace as well... but no dry burning.

Very cool, I always wanted to get there. They didn't use to have much for evening and weekend hours. Maybe this Saturday when I get back in town my toys will be here and I will bring them by to try a sample!

Your "not having time" is invalid. Setting up the RM2 takes under 5 minutes and once you have it going a wick change is like 1 minute.
You can use the same coil for weeks with no issues really. :)

I really don't want this to sound wrong...but I have more money than time. To put that comment in perspective, I am talking about not caring if I waste $2/week. My main worry...I'll start rebuilding three different head types and suddenly realize I have ten years worth of pre-built heads  I get a bit of tunnel vision...

I found the bamboo thread lasts longer.
Aunt Lydia's bamboo thread

I will for sure check it out! Thanks.

Depending on how busy Rob is, I will likely have my stuff when I get back in town.

The earlier the better. They open at 9am on Saturdays. I get there at 11am. Usually from 1-5pm we are packed and have 10-15 people in there at any given time.

Super X and PDib taught me everything I wanted to know about wrapping coils (and a ton of others in the micro coil thread in the RBA part of the forum) and then some !!

It's really easy! The worst part for me is getting the legs in the itty bitty teensy weensy things they call holes. Takes me longer to do that than anything. Oh, other than finding the coil I just dropped and after 10 minutes of looking to find it still on the desk :D

you have no idea how much i can relate to that, bro. if i drop a coil i won't even try to find it. on my first coil attempt, i managed to back out and drop an entire post/screw. if the afternoon sun had not been just right, i'd have never found it.

I believe it was Debz here on the forums who told me I should hire junkies off the street to put the wires into the holes for me...

Wait-wait- she actually suggested that i kindly "ask someone- hopefully a smoker" to do it for me :)
... which. by the way, is excellent advice!

Sigh... No wonder i can never get anything right :)

The RM2 is easy to build and easier to maintain than most anything I have tried -- and I have tried a lot. It was a game changer for me.

As far as atties, the empire mods LR has an excellent reputation as well as the vapage hybrids. Both reasonable price. I have several of the empire mods and use them regularly.

Edit: Come to think of it -- Gilligan could rebuild an RM2 with only a slight bit of coaching from the Professor. (and then he would get hugs from MaryAnn for the wonderful vape).

I agree. Between my RM2, my IGO-L,and my oddy clone. The RM2 is by far the easiest to rebuild. Especially because I like my 26 gauge nichrome.

I love Deadwood. For a while, there was a box set floating around in here. I was lucky enough to get it. Calamity Jane is my gal. Bullock was awesome and Swearingen also.

Yea, kanthal and the rm2 are on the way. I guess I made this thread knowing what I would get told...in the end it is better I suppose.

Lol, your username seems to match this thread subject perfectly.

As for the rm2, I have no doubt that this group will get you dialed in and building fantastic coil/wicks in no time. I've used many rba's in the past and I think the rm2 is the easiest to setup of any I've tried. Combined with the reo, it is an amazing vapor, flavor factory duo. Once you build your first coil and get that nice vape, you'll probably be hooked and wonder why you delayed the decision at all.

cheers

So, I got home from my trip....the reomizer was here.

After my first vape on it my immediate thought was to post in this thread. "It worked".

The only bad thing so far is that I waited this long to get it.

Well, now, there you are! It wouldn't be polite to rub it in and say "Na Na na Na Na....told ya so" so I won't say anything like that.....but, you're right, it's a shame you waited so long. Now you have a LOT of vaping to do on it to catch up.

It is pretty wonderful, isn't it. Game changer for sure. You'll never be able to go back to over-the-counter attys/cartos again.
