Noob with a 3 ohm question

Wasn't sure where to ask but I'm thinking of getting the istick mod and in a post I posted under batteries and chargers someone stated that while the istick is a good product it had one flaw and that was it had no buck converter but a boost converter and he agent on talking about voltage and ohm which I'm not to familiar with he mentioned maybe using a 3 ohm coil so I looked at some sites and most I find are between 1.5 & 1.8 so my question is can you buy 3 ohm coils if so know of any places and would it be OK to use with a istick?

I don't have an istick, but I've read reviews that indicate that it fires hot (puts out more voltage than it should). You don't mention what your tank is that you are looking for coils for, but if it's an Aerotank, PT 3, or other dual coil tank, then yeah, it can be hard to find coils above 1.8. Maybe consider going to a single coil tank? It seems like it's easier to find 2.4 or 3.0 ohm coils for them.
