Want to start by saying that I am glad to have found your site. My son is the first person I have seen with an e-gig so I had to try it. Well I thought this is not so bad although I am not a menthol smoker and smoke two packs and a pipe every day. I also bought a couple of disposable e-cigs that were crap to say the least. So after some internet info I almost signed up for a free trial and had several e-cig companys call me and tried to get a cc number. I am not that smart so I did some more digging and glad I did. So here I find your fourm and after a few days I entered your chat room and some one told me a few models that would be good for a noob and then a person named oldcoot informed me of madvapes. I came round to a pv branded rough stack and I expect it will be here tomorrow. I hope that I will be able to quit smoking tomorrow and thanks for being here.

Welcome Jerry and glad you found us. There is a lot of great information here, so glad you didn't get sucked into those "free trials" which turn out to be not so free. Finding the right pv and juice is the tough part, quitting the analogs is a lot easier once you've got the right stuff.

Welcome Jerry - you've got a pv coming and you've got probably your best chance of getting off the smokes. You still have to be motivated for it. But sheeeesh for me it's been pretty easy. 4 weeks and 6 days without smoking.

It's a whole new world here. It's almost an underground movement. But in no time you will be familiar with a lot of the terms that are new to you at the moment.

If i had some advice to give you it would be to have enough gear (e cigs with good battery life) and liquid so as you never run out. Also don't try and cut down your nicotine content too quickly. Take your time.
You will feel sooo good very quickly. You'll probably get a dry throat at first so have a glass of water nearby wherever you sit and vape.

Good on yer. And don't sit and struggle with anything. Just post a question and help will be at hand.

Welldone, a roughstack is a great choice of a pv, you won't regret it. Just be sure to carry at least 2 fully charged batteries for that. And some cartos (cartomizer) or cartridges (if you use atomizers). And welcome to ecf & the wonderful world of vaping.

Welcome to the group. I would not worry too much about finding the exact pv and juice right away. You have the rest of your life to experiment, and now that you are not smoking, that life may be much longer.

I would like to thank you all for the warm welcome and want to say I am glad to have a place where I was able to get the info I needed for my start in the ecig life style. I want to also extend a BIG thank you to DonG for being such a good guy and giving me the info to start and helping me and with the problem of bad taste with my Deknag american blend 24 mg nic by tweaking it with some menthol crystals he had on hand or there is no way I could have vaped that stuff.
