Hi Rick, I'm pretty new here too. Just jumped in with both feet in January, when I decided to quit smoking for good after around 40 years. So far, it's been great, especially with the help of this the ECF forum. Good to have you contributing, and hope to see you around!

Last summer a friend showed up at the house with my first exposure to e-cigs. It was an expensive mall purchased kit and she was raving about them. My first impression on it was mixed. The idea sounded cool as a nic delivery device but I saw three things wrong with it. First, they were expensive. Dont remember how much she paid for the kit but it was ridiculous. Second, it looked too much like an analog. If I was to use such a thing, I would want to be able to use it in places where you cant smoke. Third, and most importantly, the pre-loaded juice was terrible. Tasted like a bad 555 that was strained through used kitty litter. Bad, bad stuff. Oh well, the idea sounded good but the application was a bust.
I chewed on the idea for a few months and was curious if there was some way to re-load those commercial cartridges with a juice more agreeable. In October I Googled E-cigarettes and found ECF. The rest is history.
After lots of reading here I decided to go with 510 and specifically the manual 900mA eGo batt. Started off with carts, moved on to single coil cartos, then to duals, regular and mega, and eventually to DCC 3.5ml tanks. Currently using 6 tanks with various juices in them. I use some pre-punched DCCs, but mostly I punch my own. Some of the pre-punched would flood with high PG juice. I can regulate the juice better if I create the hole size.
Sometimes I use a no-drip-tip no-tank DCC when needing to be covert, but the DCC tanks get most of the use.
I have dripped some but decided to go with a small 510-T tank partially filled for juice testing. Seems to work better for me. Doesnt waste much juice and can take it with me if needed.
Juice. Started with Dekang tob flavors but got tired of them pretty fast. Tried lots of non tob flavors but I didnt care for any of them. Im still new at it and figure I'll get into them eventually. I moved on to many juices from many vendors. Currently, the juices in my tanks are: Houston Elixir RY4, Elixir Tasty Tob, BWB Backo , BWB Virginia, VR Kentucky Premium Blend and V4L Cowboy. I rotate some other juices in. More BWB, V4L, Prime vaping, Vermillion River, etc. I discovered that I get tired of a juice real fast if I dont swap it out. Have some new Vermillion River and BWB on steep that I cant wait to try.
I'm staying with 3.7V for the time being but plan on building some VV mods at some point.
