So I was rewicking. That thing from Russia was a bellus and I grabbed a photo of That Russian clone. Seems it still has juice in it which means it’s also probably wicked. Wick may be dead though and that juice is years old. Likely a take it apart and run the pieces through the dishwasher kind of thing. There should be lots and lots of tutorials on how to wick it. Here if nowhere else. Plus there’s probably an example IN it. All attys come apart and wick differently.

Mtl is more rare now. Such a tank might have to be ordered online. Leave an address and I can just send you an ol used Russian clone that is mtl only. Very out of date but it will do it.
Thank you very much for the generous offer. After reading what you all have said as well as doing more research based on what you all have said, I am afraid the MOD I bought is not what I really need. I BELIEVE I need the sensation of smoking more so than the nicotine.....(believe), so I am leaning towards the MTL style. Now I understand this is a public site and advertising is more than likely prohibited, but is it OK for you all to recommend brands that you have trusted in the past?

You can still use your mod, but it's gonna be a little bit big and heavy.... (!?)
And then you can bought only a mtl tank !
I BELIEVE I need the sensation of smoking more so than the nicotine.....(believe),
I believe you need both...
Probably the best way is to try to duplicate the inhale that you had with the cigarettes( thats why you have to try the mtl tank) !

And you "need" the nicotine so you don't feel empty in the end of the day !

A nice kit should be something like this, or something similar... (or you can buy only the mtl tak atomizer)...

Aspire Zelos X Mod 80W
Aspire Nautilus 3 Tank 4ml

OK....I figured out how to adjust the flow as Sir Kadly recommended, and NOW I am getting vapor without trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose. With my juice at such a low level of nic, perhaps I will try messing around with the flow to see if I can get to that happy medium I was looking for. I did go to the Vaporesso site, but could not find any MTL tanks for this mod? Maybe I am still too noob to know what to look for?

N° 1 : Aspire Nautilus 3 Tank 4ml

N° 2 : Innokin Zenith Pro Tank 24mm 5.5ml

N° 3 (!?) : Vaporesso GTX 18 MTL Tank

(just my opinion...!?)
Find some reviews for them on YouTube, or any other similar tank with pre-made coils and choose whatever you want - like... !?

By far the best and for many years is the
Aspire Nautilus, and after all these years and all the versions through the years is one of the top (if not the top !?) !

Again, please excuse my ignorance, but I went to their website and are you saying that the Nautilus Aspire Nano tank will fir directly onto my Vaporesso MOD?

I don't know what product you are looking of...
But if both of them have the 510 screw in conector (tank - male, mod - female) you are good to go... !
Thank you.....and just because I feel like I am drinking from a fire hose, what exactly will fitting this MTL tank to my mod do for me? Please and thank you in advance.

Probably yes,
In the lower air settings, you can have an inhale like a cigarette (in two phases - motions, first you keep the vape in your mouth, and then you pull it down to your lungs) !
And probably with the air full open you can inhale it in one motion down to your lungs (something like you do right now with your tank in it's lower air settings...!?) !

One of the hallmarks of MTL is comparatively low wattage. If you’re searching for a mod that does mtl well a mod that goes down to 1 watt, ideally with fractions is preferable. It can be done with a mod that goes down to 5 without fractions, but it’s not ideal.

Such a mod would be, as an example of an absolute minimum would be the vandyvape pulse2. A mod I bought recently, which you still may not want as it’s a squonk but does go down to the minimum. A mod that does go down to 1 watt with fractions is the eleaf pico squeeze 2, also a squonk, which would likely be hard to get anyway. I bought mine new recently, but I had to order it direct from eleaf and they were almost out of stock. The only color they had left was purple, and it wasn’t even on their website. Eleaf may have something that isn’t though. The only reason I was able to get it is someone here dropped a link. One that may or may not amuse you would be some sort of provari. The things haven’t been made for a long time and we’re at one point wildly expensive. Waaay over $100. They might be really cheap now though. One worry there is while iirc they used 18650s there were several models and some may require batteries that aren’t made any longer (I am not one of the proverotti but some here are and will know a lot more) my memory is they only went up to 15w. A provari and that Russian would make you look like a well heeled old schooler, as long as no one knew the Russian was a clone. (Which is partially what the old clones were for, so afaik it’s visually identical minus any logos or serial numbers)
There might even be some people here still running that rig. The provari is a stick mod and isn’t very large so it would be a bit like carrying a full sized cigar tube. Anything will work though if it fits the wattage requirements though. It’s just a thought. For all I know those things are still wildly expensive or no longer safe or something, and not something to go near unless you’ve already got one. I did hear about one person being killed by one when the battery exploded, (the fault of the battery not the mod afaik) but little else. Some mods only come as kits which would be a mod and some tank. If one is faced with that you have to buy the atty you want seperately and then just store (or sell or give away) the tank. I had at least one such tank which I recently gave to someone. It was even a decent one, for a coil cartridge tank.

I forgot to mention it...

In this type of tanks, the RTAs - Rebuildable Tank Atomizers there is no pre-made coils, you have to make your own build - to make your own coil, and put in your own wick - cotton... !
You can buy premade coils and for the DL ones if you want to keep up with the vape quality of coil cartridges (which have gotten better since their introduction) you need an exotic coil which ,while possible, is a PITA to do yourself and I have found myself buying them. Theyre much more expensive that way but still generally under a buck apiece, and with rewicking and dry burning can last a long time. You can also buy single wire coils though there’s little reason to.

Yeah man... But he is a new vaper who is trying to cut off the cigarettes... and probably he is not sure on what device will suit him the best... !?
So i think it's too early for an RTA for now... i think it's better to try a simple mtl tank with pre-made coils as a start... and later on his can switch it into RTAs if he really likes - wants it... !?
(I think there is no reason to confuse him right now with RTAs, buildings, wires - Ohms - resistances, cottons... etc... etc.... !?)

I totally agree on the rta. I was just trying to make sure there wasn’t any confusion. Perhaps I made it worse rather than better. I got the impression he wanted to go MTL anyway. There are a few mtl RDAs but they won’t want the DL exotic coils anyway.

Yeah no worries man, we all just trying to help around... ! But so far he has only one kit and without to trying anything else, he is not sure if he likes it or not... !? So i think the next best step for him is to try a quiet good - cheap - easy MTL tank so he can find the differences by himself... and then he can try something else - deferrent... !?

Just saying my opinion ... thats all !?
