Hello all;

I am new here but noticed this is a good place for tips and reviews.

I am also new to vaping, and yeah I dont quite understand all the lingo yet..lol

Anyways my story. I purchased an ecig online called ehealth,,it arrived ok, etc..I have looked around about this one and found out it was discontinued except if you order from china..eek..but

Upon opening the package..I tried it out got a good hit from it..but

that was it..just one and then no more..

I mean it works (sort of) if you let it sit around for hours before the next use..

So I am sure there has to be something better out there..the unit was only $30, guess you get what you pay for.

I know the sell one at cvs pharmacy..anybody use that one?..or am I better off getting one from the online stores?

Being a heavy smoker for years..one hit every 2 hours isn't helping at all..I just go back to regular cigs between uses.

Thanks :)

I just did a little hunting around and it looks like the eHealth may be an m401 or something similar. Its an older model and has the disadvantage of an extremely small cartridge (which explains why you only got one puff), but some people really like this model because it works for "dipping". If you have the model I suspect, the bridge actually raises up out of the atomizer when you take the cartridge off so instead of messily dripping e-liquid on the atomizer, you can fill a contact lens case with e-liquid and "dip" the bridge into the e-liquid, put the cartridge back on, and vape away.

Don't give up on it yet, but if it doesn't work for you, I'm sure somebody can point you to a model that will better suit your needs.

EDIT: Is this what you have? http://www.e-healthcigarettes.com/store/p/27-Deluxe-E-Cig-Starter-Kit-With-3-Chargers.aspx

Thanks for the quick reply :)

Actually I notice the cartridge,,filter tip thing or whatever ir is called..the nicotine in it is a gel,,not a liquid..almost like silicon rubber in the foil..is this maybe because they are bad or something?

The heat probe basically taps the foil when you shove the cartridge on..I have tried cleaning the heat element, blowing it out, etc..but still it didn't make any difference.

As far as the using liquid..I still need to learn that part. Do you mean I dip the heating element into the liquid..or do I put drops in the foiled container on the mouth piece?

It's probably regular "e-liquid" which is mostly propylene glycol, suspended in some sort of filler material to "wick" it to the atomizer without it simply leaking all over the place. Some e-liquids use vegetable glycerin which is almost gel-like in consistency in its purest form, but its always thinned down by flavoring, water, and nicotine.

I think you can do both. You can either drip more liquid into the foiled cartridge, or dip the heating element directly into the liquid--just enough to get it wet. Granted, this is third-hand information as I haven't tried the particular model you have.

Normally I "drip" which is where you drip a few drops of e-liquid onto the bridge of the atomizer (recessed, rather than sticking out of the atty like yours) but you have to be very careful if your PV uses an automatic battery (ie. doesn't have a button) because if the liquid drips all the way down into an unsealed battery it can shorten the lifespan. Manual batteries are "sealed" so the liquid can't get where it shouldn't.
