Thank you! I'm thinking of picking up a Fling tomorrow to give it a try, leaning towards the itaste I think as everyone tells me it's great for beginners and is available on fastech. Have you had any experience with that particular company?

I've seen several people suggest the Flings as a bit more budget friendly disposable alternative to the NJOY Kings but I personally haven't tried them yet. Be aware that the claims manufacturers make for their disposables being the equivalent to x number of cigarettes are just plain silly. You don't absorb as much nicotine from vaping as you do from smoking and the body uptakes the nicotine more slowly.

Also, disposables can give you a taste of the vaping experience but the iTaste VV 3.0 will be capable of producing larger quantities of vapor at warmer temperatures. Most people will prefer that experience over using disposables.

Fast Tech is an extremely popular source for e-cig supplies. They actually have pretty decent customer service, particularly considering their low prices. Also, they give a longer warranty than nearly all U.S. suppliers and have a Florida address for RMAs so you never have to fool with international shipping for returns. They take PayPal so you have that for recourse if something falls through the cracks.

If you order from fast Tech you might want to try some of their Liqua and Dekang juices. They are the legit brands and the prices are excellent.

Research. It's cheaper to get a good one up front than end up wanting to upgrade all the time. I started with an ego & won a Vamo V3 in a contest here. It's a good APV sold at a reasonable price. This would be a good starter kit. $54.32 Vamo V3 Variable Voltage E-Cigarette Battery Compartment Set - with Nitecore I2 charger / 2*Sony US18650V3 batteries at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping

The iTaste VV 3.0 offers all the features of the VAMO in a much smaller and lighter form factor. It also offers pass-through capabilities that the VAMO does not have. The iTaste VV 3.0 doesn't have as much power as the VAMO but the power it does offer will satisfy the vast majority of vapers. It also has the advantage of being an excellent device to use on the go should someone decide that they might prefer a bottom feeder or mechanical rather than a more powerful electronic PV in the future.

I use my VAMOs, SVD, eVic, mechanicals and bottom feeder at places in my home where I sit down but my iTaste VV 3.0s on a lanyard is my go-to for flitting around the house. There is no difference in the vape from the iTaste VV 3.0 than from my larger, heavier PVs.

Started vaping myself a month ago. . .I chose a regular e-cig, as it seemed it might be easier to quit analogs using something similar. Ordered two e-cig starter kits, cartos, juices, etc and while it has done the job to help me quit regular cigs, if I had it to do over I'd skip that step. Batteries die quickly, are a pain. . .lots of refilling of cartos, bad cartos, etc. I'd suggest going to a smoke/vape shop and getting the downlow before ordering anything. Even if it's just to get info before ordering online.

I recently got into vaping and pretty much jumped the gun and bought a Provari (VV) right away. I guess it all depends on you. For me, I already knew this was type of thing that would get me hooked, so I figured I would either gradually upgrade from cheaper mods to expensive ones, or just flat out buy the best.

I couldn't be happier! I was right on my tendency to get hooked (currently experimenting with DIY EJuice with an insane amount of flavorings I ordered). Now that I am a little more knowledgeable, I would recommend a variable voltage mod first. If you are looking for sleek and small, go with an Ego. If you don't care about that and budget is still a factor, then go with something like an iTaste or Vamo. If you know you will most likely upgrade to the best later on, get a Provari! Good luck, dude!

I'm a noob too. I began with NJOY King--very realistic..then heard about White Cloud Mini Flings. Some of the flavors are quite decent, but they don't last very long. They are cheaper, though; $3 apiece if you get ten at once .After a lot of research, I just ordered my first starter kit--I'm getting a Halo G6. Some people like a cigalike, at least as a first step, some don't want anything more, some folks like tanks or variable-voltage batts or higher-tech gizmos. It's a big tent, and there is room for us all. Find something that appeals to you and gets good reviews, and go for it. And welcome.

I started with a cig-a-like, didn't cut it. went to the ego twist with a tank system (t-2 & 3's) worked. If you have a store near you stop in and talk to them, helps for sorting through all of this. Most of the stores I've been to will let you try their juice before you buy which really helps. If you are able to stop into a store don't buy large bottles but get several smaller ones of different flavors. My tastes have change and now some of the early juices I bought don't taste that good anymore. The online stores are great and I have bought a lot from them but i still like to see things in person when I can. Touch them play with them a bit and ask others their opinion about the quality of the mod. Good luck!

been there done that...
thought the little "look kinda like a cigarette" were cool but the small batteries ended up making me almost give it up

then I found EVOD Kit and have been very happy since buying one
this is an example of the cheapest I see at this time...
Kanger E-VOD Starter kit, Kanger EVOD clearomizer, Kanger eVod Cartomizer

good luck and hang tuff !
let us know how your doing... :)

Definitely a good starter kit. If you have the money though even an itasteMVP with a kanger pro tank 2 will bring your interest in this community and what else you can do with e-cigs. Lots of knowledge to be learned! do your research :) try fasttech if you can wait 8ish days.

You're going to love the G6. It was my first kit too about a month ago. Great quality product in my opinion especially at Halo's pricing. The mini tanks are great with them for flavor and good vapor. But like most everyone else, I was ready for something bigger. Just got my itaste v3 about a week ago and am loving it. Next step is a big boy mod, just so many choices

Hello I was the same way when i finally bit the bullet and ordered and ego starter kit last week and here i am now 5 days no Analogs at all.... best thing i have ever decided to do. My advice just keep snooping around here and getting advice. if you have a Vape shop near you go in and ask questions they are usually willing to share their knowledge.( at least a couple of the shops here in Colorado are. )
Good Luck!!!!

Wish we had vape shops here, would have made my choices so much easier. Better yet, wish I lived in Colorado lol. So far been 24 hours since my last analog, haven't been crazy like every other time I have tried to quit. Am getting a little apprehensive about the arrival of my G6 as I don't want to fall of the wagon before it comes :)

Suhweet! I ordered my G6 on Wednesday and am impatiently awaiting its arrival. Had my last analog yesterday morning, so far so good, with the disposables I'm using now it has helped reduce that OMG I wanna smoke craziness. I'm heading out now to get a couple more disposables while I'm waiting, don't wanna fall off the wagon again! How did you like your iTaste?
