hey,

the circumference of the 'washer plate' that the main o-ring sits on ;

is SMALLER on the T3S coil

it is BIGGER on protank coils and won't fit INTO T3S tanks

- - - -

so I buy T3S coils, and they fit in all my kanger bcc's

- Kanger T3s/Mini T3s/MT3s

Vape≈Hearty :2cool:

Great observation puff. The flange part of the assembly is different in diameter by about 1mm. However, the 3TS head will tend to leak past the flange a bit more into the 510 threading. There's less of the flange surface to mate with the base. So it'll get you out of trouble in a pinch but I wouldn't recommend it.

For recommendations on getting Kanger products working as they best should please consider my blog entry...

And be prepared for a perfect build within a few days wrapping with tension and symmetry.

Good luck.

After spending one month with lots of tinkering...I can now make my protanks work 100% and perfectly.

I use these https://www.fasttech.com/products/1464502, cut out one of the ends to use as taste wick (remove two strands) and tada.

100% consistency and huge taste and flavor.

As for airflow, I adjust the bottom piece of my atty and airflow is always 100%

I spend almost no time tinkering on my gear anymore. I make 10 coils at a time and they would last me over 1 month. After that it would take 1 hour for the next month.

After buying 1 mini protank and 1 unitank from kanger , I will say their products are trash. It's a shame these tanks are the ones with the most threads of flooding gurgurling. It takes time from you and your family with tinkering trying to make these tanks work. Let me tell it works good when it works, but the odds of it working good are very slim . I ordered the new i30 s and was amazed at such a hassle free vape,. Even after the first refill I was kinda scared because the protanks it was a hit or miss, usually a miss which was so disappointing but let me tell you! I refilled the i30 s and it vamped like a champ over and over again. So for now these protanks will go to the trash because I would not even give these to my worst enemy!!

Hope that shakes out well for you. For me every time I tried it just left me with wet pants.

You see certus when any air is allowed past the base seals, even the most minute amount, it disrupts the vacuum pressure upon which the tank design relies to keep the flow balanced. Too much, tight airflow. Too little, flooding into the 510 connector space. In both instances bad vaporization.

However, if it works for you? Congrats.

For those of you who think the standard hand-would wick we import does not perform to the standards you expected of a $20+ device, I believe your conclusion would be right. See my above post for the guidance on several threads from some of the most experienced builders on this forum.

Good luck all!

you have got no idea about what i said.

pull the connector pin further out. use your beauty ring in conjunction with battery to move the battery further out

i.e. adjustable connector pin and adjustable airflow

You mentioned nothing about an eGo or a beauty ring. I responded to your statement to relay my own experience regarding what you described.

I wasn't trying to slam ya…skeptical, for sure is all. Right?

But being a obsessively curious as I am, and so you know I don't diss anybody's ideas or contribution, unless they're talkin' out there a**, I had to put your idea to the test — I pulled an Ego + PT and I can see what you meant now. And yes you can delicately pull the 510 positive post up a bit. When you do and very slightly you can create a narrow gap between the beauty ring and the atomizer. The PT won't seat as far down into the 510 connector with the pin slightly extended. Or a lot, if you pull it out too far! So it needs to be done with care, in baby steps (or i suspect you can break the eGo)...But yeah, now with your answer it's clearer. You're right. The PT air inlets are less obstructucted. And it's easy to do. You don't need to create too much clearance. A mm or less even. And yeah, it does help. Good tip!

Honestly had no clue from how you described it. You're right. Just sayin'.

Glad you're getting the air that you need!

Have a great weekend, and good luck.

:)

Just a noob here, 4th week in and no cigs since day 2 of owning a pv. I started withthe kanger mini pro2 and tho they are alright fir cheap money I too noticed some gurggle if not treating refilling it like it was open heart surgery. I also noticed when I dropped and nicked it that the supposedly stainless steel was really coated chinese brass (not the 464 naval lead free type I am guessing) so I went straight to american and greek products. If I am going to have to disassemble something I want to at leadt havesome fun with it. So now I am on my RBA, RDAs and a sweet stealthy dingo by atmizoo :D
