Normal coil with cotton?

Hi everyone,
I have a hard time perfecting my microcoils, as I am very new to them. Would you recommend wrapping a normal coil (32gauge wire, wire spaced out, not touching like in a microcoil) with cotton? I have spent at least 2-3 hours on microcoils right now and want to vape, so do you also do normal coils with cotton? Thanks, everyone.

I have tried an open coil with cotton and it was "Ok".
What is it about the microcoil that's giving you trouble?

I do normal coils with peaches and cream 100% cotton yarn, I do believe you can to it with a cotton ball, but I haven't yet, someone else should be along with more info

I've done normal coils for a protank with cotton. They work fine!

Cotton balls work perfect in normal coils. It is all I use in my RDAs, microcoil or not. I recently went back to using yarn in all my micro'd Kanger BCC heads, just because it is easier to get the size right every time. Never got it going in the RSST though, that gets ekowool sleeved SS cable.
