nose bleed

One of the reasons I was motivated to quit smoking was that my mouth, nose and eyes were always really painfully dry. I have a condition due to rheumatoid arthritis that causes my membranes to be dryer than they should be anyway, and smoking was making it worse. vaping can be dehydrating though as we all know…so I've found that I still have to use saline spray and often an ointment called Rhinaris (I can get it OTC at the drugstore here in the US) at night before I go to sleep. Overall, it is still much better than it was when smoking. BUT, even with years of dryness, I'd never had a nosebleed (barring being bonked in the nose). Then, about a month after starting vaping, me and the hubby traveled from North Carolina (where we live is essentially a humid swamp) to Vegas (dry desert) and two days after we landed I was minding my own business and BOOM…it was like a fountain. It was terrifying…but just because the dry air was exaggerating my already sort of dry nose. I'm guessing replacing my usual excessive water intake with free bloody marys from the hospitality bar wasn't helping matters either. :)

TL;DR unless it starts happening all day every day, your nose is probably just dry and irritated. Try a water-based ointment and nasal saline spray. (Don't stick a petroleum-based ointment up your nose. It can be dangerous.)

It's windy, USA
This generally has to do with the fact that PG and VG are both hygroscopic, which means they attract/leech water and moisture, and since you're vaping they're doing it primarily from you: your mouth, your nasal passages, etc.

It's why you're pushed to drink and swish more water as a vaper. Basically, you're making your nasal passages brittle and thin in the same way that long-term exposure to really dry air will. People here often get random nosebleeds in the winter if their house isn't humidified at the furnace, etc. It isn't helped if you are using a sub-ohm tank or something and just plowing through the eliquid.

If it keeps happening and bothering you, you basically need to figure out a way to get more moisture to those tissues. Drinking water helps, but if your environment is dry and you are cloud chucking, you might want to check out a humidifier or something.

my friend used to google for med info if something was or seamed wrong once I told him that maybe he had hoof and mouth it was funny because he's a hypochondriac LOL
I am 42, smoked for 26 years, and never had any random nose bleeds until I started vaping. I have been vaping just over 2 years and in the last year I have had a handful (5/6) of random nose bleeds. The past couple months I have started drinking more water, 1.5 to 2L a day, and it has subsided. I am no medical professional, but in my case it seemed to be a drying out issue, which vaping PG can cause, plus I live in Arizona. Your case might be totally different, but upping your water intake, and remaining diligent about it, would be the first place I would start. Like I said, this is just my experience with a similar issue, if you want an educated diagnosis you need to see a doctor.

Googling just about any medical condition will inevitability lead back to cancer, so I typically try to avoid that. (said in jest)

Severe nosebleeds from vaping

Yes, you can get a bad nosebleed from vaping. See this guy Danbrooks2k in the post linked here, he is about to get the worst nosebleed of his life:

1. It is easy to solve: you JUST STOP BUYING LOADS OF EXPENSIVE STUFF and then gently prise the clothes iron out of her hand [2]. This fixes it.

2. Ladies, if you suffer from unexplained large painful lumps on the back of the head, see #1 above, and/or hide that big wrench so he can't find it.
