Not a good week for me and vaping.

On Tuesday, my Stingray (clone) that I got the previous week broke. The bottom part no longer stays screwed into the tube. The threads on this mod are so tiny and now they will no longer hold the button and the battery/button will just randomly fall out.

Yesterday I was bidding on some mods on eBay and the only one I ended up winning was a 4Nine clone. I just thought it was like any other mod, but after some more research, I've read that it definitely isn't a beginner's mod and that it can easily short unless your connection pin on your atomizer is long enough. I only have a kayfun with no adjustable pin and I don't think it will work. Would someone want to trade a different mod for the 4Nine (clone)? I don't think I'm ready for something like that yet.

To top it off, this morning I was filling my kayfun before going to work with NLV Gold (bought a new 130ml jug last week) and ended up accidentally bumping the jug which fell and landed upside-down on my lap, spilling ALL the juice all over my lap and my nice work clothes. What a waste of juice/money! Ripped my pants off as soon as I could and threw my clothes in the wash.

How is everyone else doing?

Sorry about your bad luck!

You will not be able to sell/trade your 4Nine clone on ECF (unless you are approved for the classifieds and your clone 4Nine is not considered a counterfeit). But I hear there are Facebook groups where members sell/trade all the time.

Ahh, thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll just relist it on eBay. I'm sure it's a great mod, I just don't think I'm at that skill level yet. I did end ordering a Gp Paps clone a few minutes ago, so hopefully that will work out well for me. I still have my Provari and my Silver Bullet (which I hadn't used for years!) I forgot how solid the Silver Bullet is and how much I love the button on it... It's just not very pretty.

kayfun will work on the 4 nine mod. i own both. the only difference with the 4nine, is there is no contact pin. the battery makes direct contact with the rba. only thing you need to do is use a nipple top battery and you will be vaping away. the 4nine is great, just be careful when screwing and unscrewing the tank because the top cap is brass and you can jack up the threads pretty easy.

I have a nipple top battery, but I'm afraid of screwing in my kayfun and causing a short. The center pin on the kayfun is probably 1mm or less longer than the outside threaded part, so it makes me a little nervous. I've heard it's a great mod though.

As long as you can see the center pin sticking out past the bottom of the 4nine top cap once you screw it onto your atty, you won't have any issues shorting it.

The kayfun does have a short 510. Mine won't connect on some devices.

I sure hope your day improves :)

Sorry to read about your misfortunes this week, Reveen. Have yourself an excellent weekend.

Thanks! I'm contemplating checking out one of the B&M shops in town this weekend to look at other mods. I really would like to hold them and play with the switch a bit before purchasing. Will end up paying quite a bit more though, but no waiting for the mailman that way!

I'll have to examine it closely when it arrives. Thanks for the tip!
