All,

Just a heads up. Not all eGo-T kits come with the eGo-T batteries (the newest style that switch off/on with 5 quick clicks).

I learned the hard way and am losing out on a few clams for shipping a return.

When you choose to order your kit (if it's important to you that you do get these new batteries), check the description of the kit very carefully. If it states that it comes with eGo-T batteries they shut off/on. If it states that it comes with eGo 650 batteries, they're the same ol' eGo batteries. Also check the picture, eGo-T batteries are branded on the end with "eGo-T".

The shut off feature is too cool for school, i agree, we have all probably had hot pocket (lol) before....

I agree - the shut off feature is a really good one.
However, I have noticed that the eGo-T batteries also have an automatic shut off after around 7 seconds. So, If you like really long hits, you may want regular eGo batteries.

The shut-off feature sound nice...other than the fact that it just one more thing to fail on a very small electronic device...not that big of a deal if it fails in the "ON" position...a dead battery if it fails in the "OFF" mode...I'll pass.

Fail in the "ON" position? You would have to have the button fall of a Screwdriver from TW for that to happen... bad times.

Perhaps I should have state the "On" mode. My point being that if the feature stops working after you've clicked it 5 times to turn off...it won't turn back on. That means dead battery.

I have both types of batteries on eGo Tanks. although I don't really use the off function that often, it's still very cool to be able to shut them off. All my eGo batts, standard and the new batts have a 7 second cut-off. I didn't realize this until tonight when I started playing around with them.

My Standard eGo Batteries do not have a 7 second cutoff. My T batteries flash when they automatically cutoff. (Just like they do when they die). I thought it was time to charge and was thinking that was quick. But, one more button press confirmed the cutoff.
