That is true for the health risks, it will take a decade at least to get those data. But I don't think that FDA is going to go that route. InsteAd, I think they are going to look at vaping initiation among young people and whether smokers are successfully using vaping to quit. FDA doesn't really have the authority to ban based on health risks (they still allow cigarettes, yeah?), but they can ban things based on marketing.

FDA is currently worried that young people will start vaping and eventually transition to combustibles. If they have data demonstrating that, they will shut us down.

As you say though, they still don't have those data, but it won't take nearly as long to establish that as it will to establish health effects. Pay more attention to the behavioral research if you're worried about FDA.

If they paid any attention the economy they would know their stance is total BS. Young adults can't even afford to leave home anymore.
What teen would shell out $6-$12 per pack when a $6 E-liquid could last much longer.

I am Not for anyone picking up a Habit, but I'd rather see people enjoying a Vape rather than Nailing their own coffin.

Of course once the FDA is done Vaping will be as expensive if not more so than smoking.
