When I joined this forum I spent an inordinate amount of time reading. It seemed like all of my spare time was spent here. I never posted much but boy did I read, read and read. I just passed my one year mark of being cigarette free and in that time I used Spinners, an MVP2, Evic, SVD and I don't even remember what else. I spent loads of money on numerous clearomizers and a small fortune on e-liquids. I finally realized that I was chasing my "holy grail" of vaping and just couldn't find it. Nothing I tried was awful but I knew there was something better out there. Then I got my first ProVari. Shortly after I bought my second one.

Now that I'm using my ProVaris, my IBtanked carto tanks and making my own liquids I'm completely satisfied. It's almost freeing in a way. I am so glad that I found this forum and that there are so many helpful and genuinely nice people around here. So thanks to everyone for their advice and their willingness to share their knowledge.

congrats.jpg Oh I think that is fantastic and I think I am in a pretty happy vaping place too. Isn't it wonderful? It still amazes me everyday how easy it was to give up smoking after 40 some years and a bunch of failures. I love vaping. :)

That's terrific, Pam! A whole year, wow!! Bet you can hardly believe it!

I too have slowed down since finally getting my ProVaris....they're super, aren't they! Have plenty of good tanks and cartos now too, and some favorite flavors , so I'm not constantly buying new stuff anymore (thankfully, ha!)

ECF has been wonderful for me as well, learned soooo much; kinda miss the extensive reading I did at first, but still find myself on here for hours on a regular basis. One of these days, gotta get back to my "real" life!! But it's worth it to have finally been able to quit smoking!!

Big congratulations on your first nonsmoking year, and thanks so much for checking in and letting us know!!

your story is very similar to mine. although I haven't got a year under my belt, I lack a few months still. I too followed up with 2nd, then 3rd Provari. ibtanked sure is awesome. I recommend the ibtanked to everyone. I have not tried my hand at dyi yet tho. being self sufficient would be great, spo maybe i'll look into it more. Congrats on one year smoke free! Thanks for sharing your story.

I'm the same way, been vaping for a year, started on V2's, then V4L's, vv3's, MVP2's, zmax, telsa, fed up with problems with devices, so my 1 year goal I got the provari, put the provari with the kayfun and I actually feel like my search is over, now I just lurk on juice sites rather than mod sites.

I'm not interested in getting into mech's, so apart from a 2nd provari when my finances are better, I am done buying mods :D

Congrats on the year and the provari :)

    Congrats and welcome!

My story is nearly the same...in fact, I first met Mr. Nailz in the V4L phase of my journey. Been nearly 18months vaping for me, and just about a year after my first Provari (which aside from a worn extender cap and a small scratch by the button is just like the day it was born). So now I have 3 Provari's and soon to be #4, and 1 mech and soon to be another (ill likely list the older mech on the classies...only really need the one).

Been using rebuildable toppers for several months now, and I'm loving them! I still hang on to a nautilus and some spare coils, but I'm not sure I'll ever use it.

    Congrats on your One Year!!

So much of what you wrote reminds me of what I've been through also. I feel like I've finally found what I can settle down with and stop looking :)
