Everyone give the guy a chance to use his super-mini..whatever it is...and try and see if you can solve the problems with it 1st....

Sheesh! He doesn't have to run out and buy an eGo or something right away.

IDK much about that e-cig...but let's see if there's another problem....like dry carts.

I'm still not clear if he has cartos and what they are. 34 ml virgin tobacco? ml is a volume measurement, not a strength. If it's 34 mg nic...it's probably quite harsh. If you have 34 ml of juice...what mg is it? How did you fill the carto?

Cheers Jim and every body else. It is a V1P PCC starter kit - STARTER KITS - All Products. I read over 300 reviews before I bought it and not one person said they did not get on with it. I am using a Virgin Tobacco 34 ml.

Phil.

Do you happen to know what connection this is? It looks like either kr808D-1 or kr808D-2. If we knew that, you could get some blank cartomizers and fill them yourself with better eliquids... Could you ask the vendor?

Aty, I checked their eliquid options--their highest nic strength is 24mg/ml. I think 34ml is a typo.

By the way, I daresay the vast majority of us bought some kind of piece of crap kit on our first go at it. I write it off as, "it got me started so it wasn't a total waste".

Ha HA HA - you read some of my other posts

16 days of vaping - about $600 spent - and now eyeing Provari and aga-t2 (also going to try my hand at juice building)

Try a cinnamon type flavored vape, it is literally the only one that doesn't taste like perfume and/or aerosal to me and it satisfies my analog cravings the best

this will damage plastic tanks and clearomizers (and also most citric and cola flavors) - found out the hard way

But it is tasty (atomic cinnacide from tasty vapor)

All they have on the site is prefilled carts.

That's probably the whole issue right there. Like others have said...get some juice and cartos. See Kat's post about connector types above... she'll (or others will) point you at some great cartos and juice.

I would have to agree that this kit is really not the best for beginning with. Going for something like an eGo starter kit would produce far better results for you in my opinion. I would also tend to very seriously doubt the validity of those reviews. Even some of the best equipment out there rarely gets page after page of five star reviews. Unfortunately I would tend to think that the reviews posted there is nothing more than marketing hype for a flimsy product at best. At the very least, maybe a positive that came out from your experience is that you found the forums here and won't spend any more money on that kit.

I must say I was a bit dubious about the reviews with no negative comments. That was one of the main reason I bought it. Oh well live and learn. how about a CE4 EGO V2 DUAL KIT from Liberty Flights?

Phil, may I suggest that you read more about different models and educate yourself before you make another purchase? Visit our UK Forum and they will be able to tell you what is available there and who has the best prices and selection. you have to decide whether you want to stay with mini batteries or get something larger like eGo-class batteries. Then you have to look into different kinds of heads. Don't rush it.

UK Forum

My advice would be to get a variable voltage batery like an eGo-C Twist or Vision Spinner and some Kanger bottom changeable clearomizers--T3, MT3, eVod or baby T3 are all good and user friendly.

Good luck.

The carto is dried out. Did you switch it out for another? Do you have any juice-in-a-bottle?

When I first used a pre filled cart it was just the same so I put a few drops in not much. It was still the same. I have just used the condom method and really soaked it got a initial good hit of it. have just tried it again and got 2 good tokes of it. Maybe it is just the high nicotine strength that is the bad taste. Anyway I have ordered some empty carts and some cherry and menthol. I can not get my head around filling these cartos when they are supposed to be full.

Yup, that's what it seems like. To the OP, if you have juice, pop off the plastic mouthpiece, I just use a regular size paper clip, and then pull out the plastic stopper below that and put a few drops on the carto filler, avoiding the air hole down the middle, let it soak in for a couple seconds, give it a shake if you want, drop a couple more drops, etc. You'll see the filler getting saturated, and then you should get a good taste. I bought a cig-a-like like that to start with to try it out and still use it when driving around as I don't always like taking the rest of my stuff with me. But, I'd suggest moving up to an ego style battery or 2, clearomizer and/or carto tanks and a few different types of juices to try out. But, if you still hate the taste after trying filling the cartos, it might be best to just cut your losses as a good carto setup will give you as good (some might argue better) as a clearo/tank/vivi et al.

I did post on the UK one last night but I did not really get a good response. As you say I really do not want to buy something else that I am not going to be happy with. I do like the idea of the clearomiser so I can actually see what is in there I soon realised that when I started using the prefilled carts.

Good! You're on the right track, and can buy yourself some time, and do some research if you choose to change models (Not that you have to).

There are plenty of users that use cig-a-likes for the form factor alone. Some have multiple models :)) ;)). There's no one right answer. The trick is to get familiar with what you have. Also, experience gained is valuable no matter what.

As far as "old cartos" goes...don't get me going. I threw out most of the pre-fillt carts that came with my 1st e-cig atomizer. Bleck! Most buy blank carts and fill them with good juice. You have a LOT more options that way too. A syringe helps too (heavy gauge/thick).

You have a battery or two and a PCC. So get it working and you also need to know the connector type like Kat said...so you can get compatible stuffis (or decide to change).

I just done the condom method and it does taste a lot better. How about this kit CE4 EGO PT V2 KIT
