I have bit my tongue long enough. I realize that Bloog has had growing pains, issues with CNY, etc. But this is ridiculous!

I placed an order on Friday March 18th in the evening, because the batteries and the new colored blank cartos had just come out. I realized that nothing would be done until Monday, which was fine. Monday morning I was emailed that they received and would be processing my order. Tuesday and Wednesday went by without a word. I posted on the forum on Wednesday evening and Leaford replied right away. I gave my order number on the forum, and was emailed by customer service Thursday morning telling me the cartos are gone already. That was the first thing that ...... me off. I ordered almost as soon as they became available. And BTW while we're on that topic, what's going on with the product update thread? Oh and I forgot to mention, I was officially charged for EVERYTHING on Monday the 21st. Anyway, that same morning I told them to send the batteries now and the cartos ASAP. Then I got an email and a phone call telling me that my batteries were being shipped out Friday. RIGHT!!!!!! I've checked the USPS confirmation code all weekend, nothing. But I know how USPS can be, so I wasn't worried. That is....until this afternoon. I checked it again, and it says that Bloog just shipped it out today.

I'm seriously seriously not happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know you guys make the best. But you have to have the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. NO or POOR communication. NO or POOR updates. And as far as I'm concerned there's some real dishonesty going on here as well.

With the other venders preparing to offer the exact same products, it will be interesting to see how Bloog fairs. I hope well, but only time will tell.
The thing that gets under my skin is the incompetent website, which we have been told the excuse was because the new one was being built. Sorry guys, it shouldn't take more than a week worse case scenario to build a website that would handle proper e-commerce. Sounds to me like they are paying someone very little, and in return they are getting what they paid for...

I seem to recall that the blanks were available on the 16th and out of stock again on the 18th (something like that). Either a couple people placed humongous orders or they only got very few in. I believe a huge part of people's frustrations is that the website is incredibly inaccurate. If they ran out by the 18th then it shouldn't have allowed you to buy them. There is no connection between orders place/filled and what show up on the site.
I don't think it is right to have your card charged for goods not shipped.
And that Stock Update thread is a joke. Even when there is something to update it with, like the new 102mm bats, it isn't. Someone beside NYC needs to keep that up to date, even if all they can post is ETAs. Any news is better than no news. I was hoping Red would have forum privileges to do things like that.

Sorry about your troubles Newme :(

Well, we think so -- otherwise we wouldn't put up with all this nonsense. Have you had a chance to compare for yourself yet?

Yes! What starsong said! In spite of how poor the customer service has been and all this nonsense, these batteries and cartos ROCK! My batteries are over 2 months old, work like a charm, last almost all day. And I'm still using original cartos. I haven't even used half of them yet, because I am able to reuse them for weeks, some of them even months.

So while I'm seriously unhappy with a lot of things, I have to give Bloog credit where credit is due.

And to the owners of Bloog....

My husband and I own a small business. And I work for a business in the social media department, besides the editing I do for them. And I KNOW that in order to make a business a success, especially in the beginning, you need to do all that it takes to make it work. And if that means you need to work weekends, then you do. And if it means shipping on off days, you do that too. And if it means spending your days at work and your nights promoting your business and keeping your customers happy you definitely neeeeed to do that too. Because it takes a LOT more than just a great product to be a success. It takes hard work, diligence, and keeping your customers as happy as humanly possible.
